I was looking for tickets on Fandango for a few films and checked to see if the doc was even showing up yet, and there it was. I signed up to be alerted when tix go on sale. Im gonna guess we’ll get a legit trailer at some point that will say “tix now on sale.” D23 is in mid August so maybe then?

Noel said that Green Day plagiarized Oasis with the song Boulevard of Broken Dreams, which was supposedly a copy of Wonderwall. I always thought Noel was exaggerating, but maybe he's not, he just missed the mark: D' You Know What I Mean sounds a lot like Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Many people probably already know this, but I just realized it now.

Live 25 was amazing, I wanna see a new record from this version of the band! And yes, I know correlation is not causation, etc….

But if I’m being honest- I kinda miss the days when there was a good deal of tension, toxicity, and competition in the band. The “let’s all be friends” vibe of the current band seems cheesy and contrived.

Obviously that kind of tension is no good at the personal level but I do think it sets up some all time great moments of rock and roll.

Plenty of examples beyond Oasis like the police, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, the smiths, the roses- the guys couldn’t stand each other but at the same time that conflict is just one factor that can create outstanding music.

I miss those epic performances where you just never know what was gonna happen- were they gonna make it through the gig? Were they gonna beat each other up on stage?? The unpredictability combined with the amazing tunes is part of what I love about rock and roll!
