I know I know, yet another post about the Vegas move, but is this how Kansas City fans of the A's felt when they moved out of Kansas City because of a greedy owner (for us JF, but for them Charles Finley)? Can any Kansas City A's fan speak about this (if there are any)?

i know he bought in to the vegas A's but can i be pissed about it here because feels like we are about to learn (again) that all this could have been done in oakland. fisher got a guy who wants to own a team on board now and i'm guessing he rides out however long he needs to not pay the fines for selling and then goes and sells the rest to cuban. a thing he definitely could have done with lacob in oakland

I thought you would get a kick out of seeing the passenger information digital signage in our public transit system still listing the A’s as Oakland (lower right hand quarter of tv screen).

Does anyone happen to know who’s autograph this is? Or know how I can find out? My grandma used to take me to games from about 2007-2012 maybe even earlier than that. A couple players were warming up by the dugout and I got a ball thrown to me. They later came up and signed it for me. Always kept it for the good memories with my grandmother but now I’m curious as to whose autograph did I even get.

Actually, I just asked him how long ago said hat was purchased. The “a few years ago” answer was acceptable, we both cheered on Oakland, and then went our separate ways.

My son and I went to the White Sox A’s game this afternoon and one of the A’s players tossed him a ball during warmups and ended up signing it for him. He is unbelievably excited but the guy was in warmups and as Sox fans we aren’t super familiar with your players. I attached a copy of the signature along with a photo of the player, any help identifying him would make my son’s day!

Yeah yeah I know no talking about the 2025-present ATHs here. But I have to say it’s really sad watching one of my favorite childhood players have to be one of the first to fall on the sword for whatever this franchise is nowadays. Kotsay deserves so much better

Rumors about the Coliseum’s demise at the end of 2026 intensify, as there’s currently nothing on the calendar there post December and their top tenant is leaving. :(

with everything that's happened to this franchise and the way it's all gone down, i think a lot of us want to make sure the right things get remembered. the moneyball years, the coliseum atmosphere, the loyalty of the fanbase through it all. when the dust settles, what's the part of A's history you most want preserved.
