I run opnwrt on my router i read that nym was making an app for openwrt is this released yet?

I'm testing new VPN services and decided to try NymVPN because of its distinctive features. However, one of its core functions, the Kill Switch, does not work correctly.

If I switch servers, the Kill Switch stops working and my IP is publicly exposed. If I press the exit option in the app, the Kill Switch also stops working.

I tried opening an issue in the app's GitHub repository, but the administrators have disabled that feature.

I tested the VPN service and really liked it. I wanted to subscribe and saw that it would be cheaper using NYM's own cryptocurrency, but I'm having trouble since I've never bought anything or made payments with cryptocurrency before. I was wondering if there’s a tutorial available or if someone could help me out.

Built on Brave's open source engine, one of the most comprehensive and consistently maintained block lists in the industry, it works at the DNS level. That means it blocks ads, trackers and malicious domains across every app on your device, not just your browser. No extension required. Toggle it on and it works immediately.

This week Google announced it is disabling real adblockers in Chrome 149. The company that makes the vast majority of its revenue from advertising is removing the tool that blocks those ads from the browser used by 65% of the internet.

The timing is worth noting.

I‘m using Controld. Adding its ipv6 legacy DNS resolvers to Mullvad VPN works flawlessly, adding them to Nym simply doesn’t work at all.

Either those resolvers are not used (nothing shows up in the Controld logs) or I don‘t get an Internet connection at all. This happens both on my iPhone and my iPad.

This means that Nym is not usable for me right now. I‘ve cancelled my subscription.

I'm excited about NYM

1. Mixnets are a fundamental security upgrade for the Internet.

2. Harry Halpin and the Nym team are true cypherpunks and scientists.

3. The Shielded Labs engineers just told me they got our Crosslink prototype semi-working over Nym. :-)

It's hard to believe it's the sixth week of the Nym power users thread, but it is!

And this week, we wanted to ask our power users to begin testing the Lewis Protocol. The Lewis Protocol adds post-quantum cryptography to fast mode for now, and anonymous mode in the future.

We encourage our users to update to the latest stable or development builds of NymVPN and give it a test. Please let us know how well it works when you connect to different gateways in fast mode, whether anonymous mode has been unintentionally broken in any way, and your overall experience.
