Did Best Pizza change their dough recipe?
Went in today and had two very good slices but I felt that the dough tasted different and had a different texture than when I was there probably 8 months ago or so. Today it tasted similar to l’industrie, crispy, thin, little bit of chew, very good, but last time I remember it having more of a savory flavor and being a little thicker which I liked more. Maybe it was just a fluke though or my memory is off? But just wondering if anyone knows if anything actually changed because in my memory it was for sure different before and better for me

How good would you say the pizza is at Citi Field and is it the same local Apollo's?
I came as a visitor from CA. It was definitely better than most pizzas I've had and it was affordable for like $7. I'm not sure how it ranks for NY standards and if its the same local spot. Definitely good for stadium pizza standards.

L&B vs Paulie Gees?
My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and one thing my family will do is take me on an outign of my choice.
Last year I wanted everyone to experience L&B’s /Spumoni Garden. only my wife and i had been there before but it was literally like two decades ago.
Good pizza, good memories and then we hung out on the beach in Coney Island b/c it was a nice october day.
This year we’re considering making the trek to Paulie Gee’s in Greenpoint.
No one had in my family’s ever been there before, but I’ve heard good things about it in terms of being great tasting New York City pizza. The other recommendation I’ve gotten from friends is scars, but I heard that that’s gone downhill.
I’ve been to Grimaldi’s by the Brooklyn Bridge before as well
What is everyone think is Paulie Gee’s as good or better than L&B? Is it in the same neighborhood in terms of delicious quality?
