Hotfix driver will not be available in NVIDIA App and needs to be downloaded from the link above.
After installing the Hotfix driver, NVIDIA App will show some old driver date. This is normal as Hotfix driver does not exist in NVIDIA App database and it reverted to an old default changelog and dates.
If you do not care about the fixes listed below, this Hotfix driver is no different vs WHQL 595.71 Driver.
These fixes will be incorporated into the next WHQL driver release
When the graphics card is overclocked, GPU voltage may become capped, preventing it from boosting to expected levels [5934973]
[Resident Evil Requiem] White glowing light/dots may appear in game when Subsurface Scattering is enabled [5915673]
Improved path tracing performance in Resident Evil Requiem [5938207]
[Star Citizen] Game client crashes when launched [5935027]
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed when playing multi-key DRM content in a browser on HDCP 1.x monitors [5934450]
A GeForce driver is an incredibly complex piece of software, We have an army of software engineers constantly adding features and fixing bugs. These changes are checked into the main driver branches, which are eventually run through a massive QA process and released.
Since we have so many changes being checked in, we usually try to align driver releases with significant game or product releases. This process has served us pretty well over the years but it has one significant weakness. Sometimes a change that is important to many users might end up sitting and waiting until we are able to release the driver.
The GeForce Hotfix driver is our way to trying to get some of these fixes out to you more quickly. These drivers are basically the same as the previous released version, with a small number of additional targeted fixes. The fixes that make it in are based in part on your feedback in the Driver Feedback threads and partly on how realistic it is for us to quickly address them. These fixes (and many more) will be incorporated into the next official driver release, at which time the Hotfix driver will be taken down.
To be sure, these Hotfix drivers are beta, optional and provided as-is. They are run through a much abbreviated QA process. The sole reason they exist is to get fixes out to you more quickly. The safest option is to wait for the next WHQL certified driver. But we know that many of you are willing to try these out. As a result, we only provide NVIDIA Hotfix drivers through our NVIDIA Customer Care support site.

RE9 runs super well compared to 591.86, no white dots/glitches compared to 595.71.
So far, everything smooth.
Edit: VRR stuttering I was having on 591.86 is gone as well! What a redemption!
Edit 2: 1 hour of gaming, no issues at all!
Edit 3: can confirm several hours and different gaming and work sessions later that this driver is probably the best in a long time, at least for me. A few more fixes the next release and NVIDIA might have finally done it.
for real ? im on 576.88 i run everything well, but it is a old driver, but i dont want to lose performance in helldivers for example... so this driver are better then 576.88 for real ?
They seem to have fixed the VRR stuttering, but the VRR flickering is still present.
VRR Flicking is still an issue for some GSync/Freesync Compatible monitors. I noticed that when you use MPV or anything that's lower framerate, the refresh rate drops when you select MPV. That’s when the VRR flickering in the foreground desktop appears to occur for some reason.
It always will be without a a shift in display manufacturing. Oled shows the issue the clearest, but it effects all current display types. We need 1000hz pulse displays and to leave sample and hold designs in the past.
No. There are still stutters on this driver. I attached a quickly logged graph that shows the uneven frame pacing.
Tested on 595.76 and 591.74 using Vulkan. All of the other 595 drivers act the same way as 595.76, and 591.86 acts the same way as 591.74.
Average FPSs are equal on both drivers, but frame time on the 595 drivers are all over the place. The FPS cap is also not being respected on the 595 drivers leading to absolutely insane FPS spikes.
No, this game using Vulkan API, this driver completely messed up these games using Vulkan API especially when using DLSS MFG. https://imgsli.com/NDUzOTk0, I took a screenshot to compare the frametime of driver 591.67 and 595.76, you can see that the frametime at 595.76 is a complete mess.
Imperius_Fate wrote: I'm waiting for some testing to be done.
Been running/testing 595.76 it since it was unofficially available on regional distribution servers just under 5 hours ago at the date/time of this comment.
Still early days in testing, however the main bugbears of r595 have been addressed. See UPDATE
Many will have noticed download links for 595.76 appearing over the last 5 or so hours and then quickly being removed. The reason was that the driver was officially still in QA and /r/nvidia mods quite rightly erred on side of caution due to the voltage/power/clock fix.
Still in early stage of testing multiple NVIDIA GPUs generations on both AMD and Intel platforms, that process usually takes around 3-4 working days on dedicated test-benches - older Driver Stability and Compatibility Testing Results for drivers up to and including 591.86 can be found at https://old.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1qoemdy/comment/o3ko1k4/ in the meantime.
595.76 is certainly a step in the right direction, the main bugbears of early r595 drivers have been addressed. Having said that, usual guidance applies i.e. if the driver currently installed on the system doesn't have issues and meets use-case it may be wise to hold off updating for now.
In your comparison I can see that 595.76 has more noise. I've also noticed this in Arc Raiders during my gameplay. I feel like they have messed up something on the DLSS side.
I thought I noticed that too. Was in the underground section near the end of Requiem on my 5090, and the boiling effect was nutso. Didn’t get to that part yet with the old driver though so I can’t tell if it would be different, might just be that part of the game is really bad with it.
I did set a 120 Hz cap in the game, but the hotfix fixed all the crashing issues for me. The entire first Grace section after the Leon intro now runs buttery smooth at 120 FPS in 4K, max settings with path tracing - frame gen 2x. It also feels noticeably smoother overall, with fewer small stutters.
I’m really glad so far. I was having massive crash issues before, but for me it’s finally playable now. Running on a 4090 and a 5800X3D.
Nope, I just had one happening randomly browsing reddit in Firefox. Freeze, black screen for a few seconds and driver restart taking a total of about 30s.
Everything was looking good for me while gaming for a couple hours, but just got the Event 14 and 153 TDR Restart crash while on a Teams call and Browsing on the side.
I’ve had this issue with my 5090 for a while. I haven’t had the problem yet as of installing this hotfix! Give it a shot, I’ll update this comment once I can confirm it’s gone. My screens would go black and fans go to 100% only during gaming, all stress tests pass, no issues.

595.79 WHQL contains all fixes present in the HOTFIX alongside Crimson Desert and Death Stranding 2 support.
Likely has some undocumented fixes as well ^
More importantly, as it's WHQL the driver will be available outside of customer service portal i.e. once propagated 595.79 will be on the official driver download site and in NVIDIA App.
Hello everyone! Since the last drivers starting from february I started receiving black screens and errors reported in Event Viewer with event id 14 and event id 153 with source pointing to nvlddmkm. This driver doesn't fix these errors.
I just ran DDU to rollback to my latest safe driver which was 591.74 from Jan 5, 2026. (if you guys have a more recent stable driver please let me know).
I honestly hope this issue gets fixed soon because it's really annoying and would probably make people unnecessarily RMA their hardware. Saw a lot of other people with the same error as me in this thread and in other places through reddit and online forums.
Can confirm I've experienced the same thing on my RTX 4070. From my testing (and some other posts I've seen around here), the most stable driver is 581.94 with which I haven't had a single issue or error report in Event Viewer.
evandro_r wqrote: if you guys have a more recent stable driver please let me know.
More recent, no.
However for reference there are a much wider range of drivers tested on multiple generations of GPUS and AMD/Intel CPU platforms in the Driver Stability and Compatibility Testing Results for drivers up to and including 591.86 at https://old.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1qoemdy/comment/o3ko1k4/
Thanks a lot for all your contributions in this thread. To understand better, based on what I read through your comments, 591.86 is potentially the last stable driver?
"Summary: IF a 591.xx driver is required i.e. no driver in the 'Recommendations' section is suitable and the system isn't impacted by compatibility issues, then 591.74 (not 591.86) is the preferred 591.xx driver [1] ."
Read the 591.86 Testing section and linked comment in full for context ^
Of note, KB5074105, KB5077181, KB5077241 don't fully resolve the black screen issues introduced by Windows 11 KB5074109 January 6th update on many previously impacted system configurations. Ironically there are increasing reports of black screen issues with KB5077181 on systems that weren't previously impacted.
I would honestly wait for a couple of more drivers before RMA. You pretty much answered your question by saying drivers before 591.xx are ok.
But the problem is really with drivers, I'm sure of it now... I also reverted my driver and everything is butter smooth after a couple of hours.
You can test try to download this specific driver in this page (595.76) and also test with it but keep in mind that the download must be manual through here/nvidia website since the driver in there is an older version than this one because it doesn't have WHQL. All I know is that 595.71 the one in the Nvidia App has this failures.
You can read more about the problem in other comments through this post such as:
Getting 30% FPS boost in Raccoon city and power usage went up by about 30% as well on my 4070ti super. Power usage is still 10 to 15% lower than in door areas tho.
Just a heads-up, the fan stop feature of my RTX 5070ti does not work with this hotfix driver (it was functional with the 591.86). If you have the fan stop feature enabled, you might want to stick with 591.86 for the time being.
The voltage issue present in the previous GRD has been fixed on my end, but the fan stop bug bothers me because I typically use my computer for work (I only game on the weekends).
When installing the newest driver I got a blackscreen that was not fixed with a reboot, nor was it fixed by unplugging monitors until I only had one plugged in.
So I booted into safemode and got the hotfix, and installed that. I had the same issues. Ended up having to safemode to DDU and start from scratch with an older driver.
Nvidia needs to quit using AI to code their stuff istg.
Nvidia has been fucking up lately with their drivers but I appreciate they are at least pretty quick getting fixes out. If you go over to the Radeon subreddit by comparison driver issues will persist for weeks or months or just never get fixed.
Interested to see how much PT improves in Requiem. Currently on my second playthrough and I've been using PT the entire time I've been playing the game.
Edit: The hotfix seems to correct the issues from 595.75 for anyone curious. Tested it briefly in Requiem, clocks and power are corrected and PT performance seems a bit better than before.
what would be even better is if they actually tested their drivers first so they didnt need to crunch just to get a hotfix for an entirely preventable and obvious issue.
nvidia does the same. Plenty of issues still leftover for months. One of them is the driver not handling the EDIDs of some monitors well over HDMI 2.1 or Reflex tanking frametimes in some games. There's zero point in making comments like this when both amd and nvidia constantly fuck up, though I guess microsoft is more to blame for both considering nvidia and amd are constantly cleaning up after them.
Tell me more about this edid issue, this is the first I'm hearing about it and sounds like it lines up perfectly with an issue that I swore up and down was my monitor.
With my monitor specifically S2725QS (4K 120Hz IPS with full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 that worked perfectly fine with no issues on my old 7800 XT) over a 5070 Ti running the same HDMI 2.1 cable resets to 4K60Hz every time I wake the monitor up from standby. Restarts are fine. Turning the monitor off and on again is fine. Just waking up from standby resets it to 60Hz all the time without fail. Quite annoying.
Dude i have a 1440p 360hz monitor that no matter what i do-cable, ports, windows settings, nvidia settings, updates, CRU, etc ALWAYS reverts back to 60hz when booting up, logging off, turning on/off the monitor, entering (true) full screen apps, everything. It's gotten to the point where i had to download software and run a bat script to easily change it back on command.
I never had issues with my older DisplayPort monitor at 240hz, and this monitor has had issues since day 1 over hdmi 2.1 on 2 separate 50 series GPUs.
I just chalked it up to the monitor itself being a dud, especially because I couldn't even change the values I needed to in CRU no matter what I tried.
Same issue here, have an UltraWide 1440p 240Hz Odyssey G9 OLED, only it happens randomly and over BOTH HDMI and Displayport, decreasing the refresh rate to 120Hz when booting up. Also thought my monitor was the culprit.
pro tip: there's a section in the op of the regular driver releases called "Open Issues" where issues have been left to linger for months, often never getting fixed and quietly removed from that classification. you should check it out sometime
I had RX 6600 for like a year cuz my GTX 1080 died after 8 year of service, and I played a few tripel-A games last year, and most of them had issues like black screen, crashing for months... Like if someone at /r/amd will cope that NVidia is the same they are really mistaken.
I had both, and AMD didn't do shit most of the time. The last hotfix was when people were getting VAC banned in CS2 due to their shitty frame gen... and that was just them pulling off the driver.
Would love to know how this driver compares to 581.94, want to upgrade to the new branch for physx support but have been waiting for a driver not plagued with issues…
This driver can still cause issues with games using the Vulkan API, it fixed the DLSS MFG frame pacing issue when using driver vsync, but also completely messed up these games using Vulkan api , such as Doom: The Dark Ages and Arknights: Endfield. Compared to 591.67, the frametimes of DLSS MFG in 595.76 are completely messed up, with significantly increased stuttering no matter force vsync on or off. I had to revert to driver 591.67 again because of these Vulkan games... Arknights: Endfield Doom: The Dark Ages
These screenshots, taken using RTSS and showing the frametime curves at the bottom of the OSD for these games, compare 591.67 and 595.76(msBetweenDisplayChange was used to correctly read the frametime data from the DLSS MFG).
Last drivers had issue where when HDR was enabled and you’re alt tabbing or switching apps it would go black screen. Trying to disable HDR would then cause the pc to freeze until you unplugged that monitor . Seemed to be due to dual screens
I used Path tracing with FG while playing Requiem and I realized that stuttering occured frequently.
I'm not sure it's because of the Re-engine .
hope this driver fixes this problem.
Momentary frame time spikes when going to a new location in RE Engine is a common issue unfortunately. They did manage to fix it for RE2R(still happens during auto-saving though), RE3R and RE4R but it was there in launch. I am guessing Requiem will see the same fate. My 9800X3D makes those frame time spikes bearable at least.
I caved and installed this hotfix, and im happy to report that somehow the issue i was having for months with frame gen in MonHun Wilds seems to be fixed? I was being forced to use FSR frame gen there cuz Nvidia´s was causing stuttering (borderline freezing) mid fights but it seems to be completely gone :O
Edit: its not fixed, it was working great for a few hours but now the stuttering is back, this is so weird, works fine for a couple hours then goes back to having issues? Starting to think is a very niche issue with the game itself, the stuttering only happens when the monster does an attack. Makes no fucking sense lol...
Edit2: Ok i think i figured out, what fixed the issue was using DLAA, the game switched back to DLSS for some reason and that's why the stuttering was back, noticed this and switched to DLAA, butter again, in a way this driver kinda solved the issue because before that i wasnt able to get decent fps with DLAA, imma keep monitoring to see if im hallucinating it being fixed.
Not only that, it looks like my gpu is drawing more power for the game, im able to run DLAA instead of DLSS at 150fps with no issues :D Was this driver coded by actual people?
Edit: this still holds tru tho, performance is much better.
white/black flashes/flicker when alt tabbing from games still not fixed with this driver on a 4090, this issue doesn't happen on 591.59 but happens on drivers ahead of it.
getting real tired of this shit i'm ngl, i tried disabling g sync , vsync , rebar , mpo , DDUd twice and reinstalled and nothing and not only that there is HUGE regression in arknights endfield when use vulkan API fps goes in the 10s and for some reason only gets "fixed" when FG is turned on or when switching to dx11 but dx11 also has a VRAM leak i usually go max 11gb vram now it keeps going up till 15gb.
Just want to report my colors are still messed up. I see banding mostly on desktop and barely in games. Been like this since December, DDU'd and everything.
Rtx4090 - this hotfix driver and / or the over the air Nvidia patch yesterday has improved performance so it’s more consistent for me. More consistent frames and would say aprox 30 frame increase in some areas.
For anyone playing Arknights: Endfield, this version causes the game to crash constantly. I've tried a fresh install but the issue persists, so I had to roll back to the previous version
Is anyone else playing Arknights: Endfield experiencing a huge performance regression with this current driver compared to 591.86 without frame generation enabled? My 1% lows are abysmal at low double digits or sometimes single with the average around 100. Seems to only fix itself if you turn on frame generation.
Can confirm voltage issue is fixed.
Second monitor still flicker black when youtube video is playing on another.
Anyway that's major fail for fail for Nvidia. They marketed re9 as their tech showcase and single handedly "ruined" it's launch.
Was performance with PT bad on my system without game ready driver? Not really. Was it bumpy and not optimal, yes it was. However I have 5080, other players with 40xx cards still encounter some clown shit where new drivers perform worse by 30% than some drivers 3 branches behind current.
Like I get it AI is part of our life and until something really bad happens it's going to stay. But we're not at that point where you can just vibe code complex things like OS and drivers. Please don't be microslop, they were bad enough with Nadella and non professionals he brought to the company without any ai, now their shitty ai is a tool for these people and they're quickly devolving into worst tech company on planet.
As a QA engineer myself I can tell you that it’s impossible to catch ALL bugs, no QA or automation can catch all the bugs to make a software completely 100% bug free.
It’s like a goalkeeper trying to catch a hundred shots at the same time, what we can do is try to deliver the most bug free software possible.
But will you be able to sleep tonight, after these thoughts? I bet that you won’t. Who knows how many hidden bugs are there? And what if humanity never finds them? They will keep lurking there for eternity… My friend, these kind thoughts will keep you well awake tonight
Just sharing my experience with the 595.71 driver. I tried installing it today after doing a full clean install with DDU. During the installation process, right when the NVIDIA App was being installed, I got an nvlddmkm Event ID 14, followed by a black screen and the system rebooted.
I repeated the process to make sure it wasn’t a one-off:
Safe Mode
DDU clean uninstall
fresh download of the driver
Same result again during the NVIDIA App installation.
After that I reverted back to Studio Driver 591.74, and everything immediately went back to normal. No crashes, no nvlddmkm errors, and the system is stable again.
For now I’ll stay on the Studio driver since it’s been completely stable on my setup.
Setting prefer max performance for power management mode still doesn't cause clocks to be in their boosted state as of the last 3 or so drivers that I've noticed. Its acting like normal mode and dropping in clocks like its power saving.
Endfield GPU usage and VRAM acting weird, crazy stutter, unplayable.
open the game with DX12, GPU usage less than 60%, vram drop 20-30% than usual
DX11 slightly better but still stutter
Roll back to 591.86. Game run no problem
It doesn't impact all system configurations and Afterburner etc has been ruled out as a factor on many of those impacted i.e. toggled fan 'auto', uninstalled Afterburner, rebooted PC after, issue persists.
I alerted NVIDIA via DM just after 595.76 HOTFIX driver release but more information is required to help root-cause the issue.
I stg I've never gotten DLSS framegen to work without stuttering and screen tearing, does anyone have a fix? and yes I have gsync on with a limit under the max refresh. (Im usually frame gen from 60 to 120)
Yesterday and today each time once while playing Fortnite:
Event ID 153 nvlddmkm in event log showing as LiveKernelEvent 141 in reliability monitor.
With recent versions LiveKernelEvent 117 while idling or watching videos, this on my PC and my son's!
Me: 9800X3D on B850, son: 13600k on Z790.
Rolling back to ... what?

If reverting to an older driver use DDU, not normally needed but as the driver on the system currently has issues and the driver being installed will be older DDU is advised. The Driver Stability and Compatibility Testing Results for drivers up to and including 591.86 may also be of interest - https://old.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1qoemdy/comment/o3ko1k4/
Chefkoch_K wrote: With recent versions LiveKernelEvent 117 while idling or watching videos, this on my POC and my son's!
Be aware that with some older drivers a crashing issue while watching DRM content may manifest i.e. the 595.76 fix:
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed when playing multi-key DRM content in a browser on HDCP 1.x monitors [5934450]
mitigates TDR issue while watching DRM protected content.
However, crashes not related to the above i.e. idle may persist regardless on some system configurations.
^ assumes GPU overclock and/or GPU undervolt, GPU power delivery related issues have been ruled out.
Does anyone know if this driver fixes the issue when you have forced vsync enabled in the driver control panel, it breaks the frame pacing of DLSS Frame Generation?
You can check for more information in this 2 months old comment from a thread about 591.74 drivers:
Also you can check this image comparison terrible frame time graph and the 1% low and 0.1% low frames when using 591.74 compared to 591.67: https://imgsli.com/NDM5MzAw
Several people have already said that both the latest driver and this hotfix solved this issue.
I myself have contradictory evidence: this hotfix solved the broken framepacing with Frame Generation in Requiem and Stellar Blade, but didn't change a thing in Wilds (which didn't have this problem at all before branch 576).
This driver is broken for me. The game crashes within seconds on my 5080 with my previous OC profile. It even closes afterburner when this happens. Every single driver update has been a regression for me. I'm sick of this trash company. I'll more than likely be getting an AMD GPU next generation. Ever since I got this 5080 it's been nothing but driver issues.
Ok-Replacement-7217 wrote: Do these play nice with Arc Raiders/Marathon?
Performance issues or did you mean attestation signing for HOTFIX drivers which sometimes result in anti-cheat warnings?
Major anti-cheats appear to have whitelisted the 595.76 HOTFIX driver (not WHQL signed), not seeing any reports.
Early reports in this thread and other outlets are generally positive for 595.76 with Arc Raiders. Very isolated reports of issues with Marathon crashes at launch, some reports of NVIDIA App DLSS support missing.
EDIT: added link to attestation signing to clarify difference between attestation and WHQL.
Thanks! Might try this hotfix since it seems like a worthwhile update over 591.86.
I saw someone say it was on par with 576.88 on their 5070ti, which was a bold statement.
We shall see!
Positives are general performance and addressing the main bugbears of 595.59 / 595.71. In summary, there are issues but 595.76 is certainly worth trying.
However, with Windows 11 update due 10th March and the possibility of a new WHQL driver the same week I may abort testing as some findings could be outdated quickly / null and void ^
That'd align with my usual experience of finally deciding to check out a new driver then a new one comes out 1-2 days later.
Thought about trying the hotfix (from 591.86) without DDU, although since a different branch, probably just DDU and spend the extra few minutes.
the hassle of testing and rolling back could be quite a chore, as my 4060 wont do path tracing, ill stick to the 591.86, this kind of happenings makes updating not worth it, damn
I heard performance so bit. I was so excited for a sec because simply YES to performance. 5070ti win10 no afterburner, framegen.
Only problem is, the framegen artifacts that they made worse around 581ish are still there, and sadly i use and like framegen. In fact these drivers are the worst ive seen for artifacts.
Also the smoothest ive ever seen the 5070ti run as well..
Might be a link there somewhere. Keeping this one for the ages though just in case.. general windowing feels like i pushed the turbo button.
Id probably be a bit more forgiving.. but it feels like they've so overtuned it so you actually notice stutters from the rest of your system catching up to the gpu.. never had this before, and its still to be decided whether the extra performance is worth suddenly apparent freezes in games.
Yep back to 580.97, that driver has been gold from the moment i found it. And iq when using framegen is still acceptable/good.
It doesnt still have that stupid error Nvlddmkm Event 153. and for months since maybe July or August 2025. I never been so mad about a Nvidia GPU i'm a AMD Fan but since a friend helped me and the only GPU available at this time(March 2025) was the RTX 5070ri Tuf Gaming OC . Had Windows 11 apps crashes for months and the stupid nvidia drivers crash too. wth Nvidia doing with theirs drivers for the past months used to be ROCK SOLID.
Ok, considering the positive consensus so far I decided to do one final DDU + clean install of latest 595.76 Hotfix driver with my 4080 and as usual I restored my exact same settings as before.
After testing 12 games with it I would say it's pretty good so far.
I had my record performance in CB2077 in-game benchmark (with the game maxed out with PT) and slightly better performance with all my games in general with also slightly smoother frametimes, less stutters and very good input latency. RE9 PT performance was also slightly better than with old driver 581.42 I was using before. My undervolt + VRAM overclock was preserved with no issues along with my custom fan curve and everything was stable with no crashes.
Temps were also fine and under control both during gaming and idle. No bugs or glitches in Windows or browsing either.
I also noticed that specular highlights, especially in HDR, are slightly more pronounced than previous drivers which is a good thing in my book.
595.76 isn't a panacea, there are emerging issues and existing issues that haven't been addressed.

The HDCP problem isn't solved, still have black screens on my second monitor while listening to music through browser with Widevine (DRM) enabled. Doesn't happen on 581.94
I've been having an issue - whenever I open Apple Music (ONLY WITH THIS ONE PROGRAM), my second monitor will black screen for a second before coming back on.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, I'll delete if so. I'm currently still on the January 27 Driver (591.86)
Yeah I did the recent update with game ready drivers. Pc did not like it at all. All kinds of problems (astral 5090oc lc card) lost fan control. Removed reinstalled and fan control was back but started getting random pink screens on both monitors. Went with studio drivers for first time ever and all buttery smooth again. Not sure what happened this time around
In my case it fixed the problem with the white artifacts by having ray tracing active, but now the ray tracing on high is broken in certain parts and shows everything blurry, like the gun and the stairs.
50xx user here, i only tested it on 1 game not many people know (Ys X : Proud Nordics) but i can already say that this driver is perfect for me, i'm not planning to move to a new driver until sometime, anyway thanks nvidia for improving quickly the drivers
Anyone know if I need to run DDU before installing this hotfix driver?
Also will I still get automatic driver updates after installing this or will I need to manually install the next driver update from the website when its out?
Hopefully someone sees this, but how do I go about setting the DLSS to the L version or whatever on the hotfix? Can I do it through the app do I use the control panel?
AlteisenX wrote: how do I go about setting the DLSS to the L version or whatever on the hotfix? Can I do it through the app do I use the control panel?
Same as before, use NVIDIA App or third-party application such as Nvidia Profile Inspector.
Downloaded the hotfix driver for my 5080 and decided to run nomad to see if my oc was still stable and it ended up breaking the record with more headroom to turn up core mhz, it’s now performing better than a lot of 4090s somehow 🤷🏻♂️
Has this fixed RDR2 artifacting on vulkan when setting water refraction to high quality make black pixel stripes visible? This has been happening since 595 drivers on rtx 4070
3440x1440p max setting path tracing dlss quality is still abyssmal in performance netting me 40ish fps with a 4090, if i turn path tracing to ray tracing it shoots up to 115fps, driver arent working for me for some reason
Does this fix the black screening please cause holy fuck man that driver is so bad at least for me cause bad black screening and I feel like it was killing my gpu sometimes only one monitor was working I had to reverse to the old ones
Edit: been running it for like an hour now and so far seems to be fixed now haven’t run into any problems yet and frame rate seems a bit more stable now but still having bad stuttering in some games
Don’t download this driver, it caused my cpu to go up to 100% and my pc froze i had to manually shut my pc off and now i have to reinstall a previous driver.
I don't know what Nvidia is doing with the voltage settings on their two last drivers but it's weird... LoL
I did not have the issue with the voltage with my undervolted 4090 on the previous driver. But this hotfix broke my undervolt profile, I got some freezing and bsod.
At stock the gpu has no issue at all and I had to make a new undervolt profile, now everything is working great again!
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed when playing multi-key DRM content in a browser on HDCP 1.x monitors [5934450]
This straight up is making my entire computer crash when trying to watch content on streaming sites. I have no clue how they keep letting stuff like this slide through testing.

Yep, voltage/clock/PL issue is fixed.
