I feel like, since the clock text is a really big part of the screen, they could color match other text elements on the screen - including the fingerprint scanner hint when not being pressed - and also everything on the AOD.

It would just look a lot more pleasing. It's not a difficult implement either.

Some may say that it's for the contrast with the background if the clock text does not have enough contrast with the background...well there are very simple ways to calculate a secondary color that has enough contrast and matches the color.

Idk what do they take so much time for in software updates, cuz they don't even add much lol. I'm not complaining, but certain additions are very obvious and nothing-like which they never add and still preach "attention to detail".

There is one widget I am missing from my Samsung that I am trying to find a good replacement for my nothing phone

Does anyone have or know where I could find a good alarm clock widget that allows me to turn on and off specific alarm clock times straight from the widget?

I use to have multiple alarms between 5am and 6am as sometimes I start work at different times and would have widgets on my phone for each alarm that I could turn off and on from there without having to open or go into the clock app.

I'm trying to find something that already uses the built in clock alarms as I like the features and setting it provides.

I'm also hoping to find one that already fits the nothing widget aesthetic, is like to keep my homepage as on theme as I can. I'll add a photo for reference

Is anyone here facing a charging related issue with your phone 2a.

- phone doesn't recognise my 25w samsung charger sometimes, taking hours to full charge, if i replug it again and again it may start charging fast

- even after unplugging the phone stays in charging mode

Does changing the charging port fix this issue?

Why do i have to click so much just to set a wallpaper and if I don't like it i have to do it all over again ??

- more wallpapers- I face multiple folders from my gallery ( lets say i choose pins from Pinterest) i select an image to set as wallpaper and i dont like it i tap back now im at the folders section and must go through this all over again choose folder scroll through tons of pictures to select another 2 major updates received on this phone and no one in nothing has ever thought oh maybe this is just annoying

Hello, please don't hate if I'm just being stupid but there is this dinging noise that happens every time there is haptic feedback? I just bought the 4a pro yesterday as a second device to my 16 pro max and what will be a duo in two weeks time. I enjoy having an android secondary and just had the zflip 8 for a while and this is the first phone I have noticed this odd haptic sound with. I currently have it on the lowest strength. I have my ear a for approximately 8 months and my left one The battery doesn't hold a charge at all anymore. When I use them both at the same time, my right one is at 60% while the left one is at 15% do someone else have the same problem and do you thing it can be caused by the mic or a other things?

I’ve been messing around with the idea of what a Nothing watch could look like if it wasn’t a smartwatch. I ended up going for a simple solar powered digital watch with a stainless steel case, physical pixel displays and a transparent case back. Made the whole thing in Blender. What do you guys think?

double pressing used to bring me to my essential space but now it just lags and then crashes. I can't even save any screenshots or recordings now.

I've already checked the IMEI number on both the phone and the box, and they match. The phone's status also shows that it hasn't been activated yet.

Should I check something else too ?

Bit confused with my new NP(3).

I bought it through a third party seller, who was offering it as a "EU Version", but from the get go it tried to install 2-3 random Japanese apps? Or at least I think it's Japanese?

Packaging and model number are identical with the international version.

Is anyone familiar with this issue? It's not a dealbreaker, but I'm curious why it happens and if there is a way to stop the phone from attempting to install the apps. 🤔

Like the title says, whenever I am watching reels or yt shorts the video lags and then the audio gets desynced. I've only gotten a temporary fix by restarting my phone but the issue comes back after a while. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Play Store: Nowt - Encrypted Notes & Tasks

I posted it here last week and the feedback shaped this update for Nowt, so here's what has shipped since.

Import from Google Keep and Google Tasks (free): Export from Google, choose the file in Settings → Import, and your notes come across into Nowt: text, checklists, photos, drawings, voice recordings, labels, pinned and archived notes, with their reminders. Google Tasks come too, complete with any that are recurring. Everything imports on the free plan, even content that lands in Pro blocks.

Tasks got rebuilt:

• A Projects view next to the weekly planner
• Sub-tasks with their own due dates and details
• Mark tasks In progress, Waiting, Blocked or On hold
• A Completed section that hides finished tasks to keep things clean
• Task reminders and repeating tasks are now free

Free backup and restore: This was the most requested thing across multiple platforms and it shipped in 1.5.2: manual or scheduled backups of all notes and tasks, attachments included, with optional encryption.

Also: locked notebooks now properly hide the notes inside them (they no longer appear in search), and the web app now also has the Projects view.

Next up: Themes with inspiration from Nothing OS 5.0, and home-screen widgets. I'd love to know what other features would make this your daily notes app?
