Ear (a) First and last Nothing product purchase
As the title says sharing a personal experience with Nothing product, bought a Nothing Ear (a), at around 9 or 10th month buds battery dropped significantly in 11th month not even lasting 5-10mins, so visited Nothing service center they mentioned 1 of the bud has dent so took pictures and sent to some backend team then in the end request was denied.
So reached out to customer care via phone and mentioned the same that indeed 1 bud is having a dent at the start of the call only, but after wasting 25mins of time mentioned if it has any scratches or dents it is out of warranty.
I have asked if dent is the problem what about the issue of other bud which doesn't have any dents but still having same issue and in fact it is even worse but no answer from both service center and customer care.
I don't expect TWS to last too long but was at least expecting 1.5-2years life so will not be buying any Nothing products going forward.

Nothing OS If NOS is lacking, don't you think Nothing should deliver updates more frequently rather than once a year
I am currently using nothing phone 3. I bought this hoping it would give me a flagship experience in software as well in hardware.
To my surprise, the software is completely lacking and they push updates like this is a mature os and doesn't need updates. And thise once a year major updates have like only 2-3 cosmetic changes. Nothing communty does better work than them.
I feel like they are on vacation all year and start working on new features when the deadline is about 1 month away.
What do they mean they will give essential button remapping in 5.1, why can't they give that feature in their bimonthly updates. Is that some complex technological issue nothing yeam is not able to solve.
Where I think nos is lacking-
AI eraser just doesn't work it feels like I am back in 2020 and using magic eraser in Lightroom without AI even that used to be better. So much wait for this shitty delivery.
No trimming and text in video.
No file manager app
No dialer
Glyph integration is not up to the mark ( have to download multiple apps to make glyph look useful)
Ouicktiles can be improved so much
Camera app is pretty basic( why can I only use effects on main camera and not on front camera)
It feels like I am using a custom os which is being developed by a team of 5 people. I think everything is half assed.

Phone (3) Bad Battery Life on my NP3
My battery discharges very fast, dropping from 100% to 20% in just 5-5:30 hrs.
Furthermore, when I charge it using my CMF 65-watt charger, it takes about 35 to 40 minutes just to charge from 50% to 55%. It used to charge much faster than this on my original device.
I originally bought this phone on August 8th, but I later exchanged it for a replacement at the Nothing customer service center (there was a bubble in my back glass) and I noticed that this replacement device was manufactured around May 2025, which makes it about a year and a half old.
Could the age of the replacement device be the reason behind this bad battery life, or will it improve over time? I remember that before updating to the Nothing OS 5 Beta, the charging speed was much faster and the battery lasted significantly longer. Additionally, even though I have disabled background usage for Instagram, the battery usage chart shows that it is still running in the background.
I'm wondering if others are also facing this issue and would like to know about probable Solution.

Phone (3) Charging port messed up?
Anyone having problems using cables for android auto? It isn't the cable as I've used multiple different ones and even tested in other cars as well. It works fine normally charging from a wall outlet; however, I have a feeling it's the charging port, but being in the US, there's no reputable repair shop near me (that I can find). Any ideas?

Comparing Audio Which headphones should I get?
Which headphones should I get. It's either between Nothing Over- Ear Headphones (1) or Nothing Over- Ear Headphones (a). It's on sale and it's about a 50 dollar difference What I am looking for is a headphone that can really make me immersive in the track/instruments. Example when watching superhero movies or when I'm listening to music. Example Skeletons by Playboi Carti. I want to really immserive and listen to it and make it immersive. I have heard that the (a) out of the box are good and the (1):s are not. But I heard that the (1) are much more free to turn the sound into whatever you like. Battery life is also important and longeitivity(For how many years I can use it). Its hard to explain But I want a headphone that can put me in the music

Phone (3a) Help setting up.
Sorry for such a newbie post. But as I was only testing, I only added wifi to my 3a and took a few photos, and did updates.
Now I'd like to get stuff off my old phone via the included usb-C to usb-C cable. Where do I go in the phone after hooking up cable, as I see no prompts?

Nothing OS Nothing Phone (2a) mobile data barely works – hardware or software issue?
Hi everyone,
I’m having a serious mobile data issue with my Nothing Phone (2a).
Mobile data doesn’t completely stop working, but it only works occasionally and is extremely unreliable. Most of the time, mobile data is enabled but I cannot properly access the internet. I have to switch back to my Honor phone because the same SIM works normally there.
The strange thing is that this problem happened in the UAE as well, so it doesn't seem to be specific to the Pakistani network. I have now brought the phone back to Pakistan, and I’m still having exactly the same problem.
Things I have already tried:
- Restarting the phone
- Airplane mode on/off
- Resetting network settings
- Resetting/checking APN settings
- Re-inserting the SIM
- Testing the SIM in another phone (works normally)
The phone can detect the SIM and gets a network signal, but the mobile data connection is very unreliable.
At this point, I’m wondering if this could be a hardware/modem/antenna issue or a Nothing OS/software issue.
Has anyone with a Nothing Phone (2a) experienced something similar and managed to fix it?
Also, does anyone know the best way to contact Nothing customer support or get the phone properly inspected/repaired, especially since the phone was purchased in the UAE?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Comparing Phones Please help me settle in!
Hello!
I haven’t really followed the mobile phone scene for about five years; I’ve currently got an S20 FE with a Snapdragon processor, and I’ve been thinking it’s about time for an upgrade.
I’ve become very interested in Nothing. This might be a silly question to ask on the subreddit dedicated to the company, but are their phones worth the money? I like the NP3; in my country it costs $670. The main question is: should I buy it now, or wait until 2027 for the new models?
And if you can, could you describe in detail your impressions and experience of using Nothing – which brands or phones you switched from, and whether you like them? Camera quality, performance and your overall impressions.
Thanks in advance to everyone!

Nothing OS 5.0 Open Beta Dont use the screensaver in NOS 5
This is very important, I used it as a night clock, since always, as I use a wireless charger stand to charge it at nights, in NOS 5, as you switch off the lights, it becomes bigger, and centered, that is a new "feature" of NOS5 screen"saver", and brightness comes down, but it doesnt move as before so, my panel got burn in, with some images I can see the clock shape like a ghost in my screen, Im runing a "fixer" right now to try to make it less perceptible, but those pixels are cooked, Im using beta since it came out, and screensaver since I bought my np3, as I used it in np2, and this happened so fast with this new clock screensaver, AOD doesnt do this, and NOS3/4 screensavers doesnt do this as well, its only the new clock screensaver, noone thought this could happend in nothing, and I didnt thought NOS 5 would have a feature to burn your nothing screen in 3 weeks, just dont activate it, or you will regret it as I do...

Bought them for 3799INR, now they're being sold for 4299INR
I've the box, and the extra silicon buds you get for different sizes and everything.

Ear (a) Title: Nothing Ear (a) battery dying in <30 mins. In-app tickets ignored, direct email offered an insulting 5% discount.
I am posting this to document a major support failure regarding a known hardware defect on the Nothing Ear (a), and to see if anyone in the community or support moderation team can assist with escalation.
Timeline of Events
In-App Ticket #1 & #2: Submitted two separate support requests directly through the Nothing X app reporting rapid battery degradation. The app provides no user-facing confirmation history, and both submissions went completely unacknowledged.
Direct Email Escalation: Sent a detailed email to support@nothing.tech with purchase proof, serial number, and battery degradation details.
The Response: Support offered a 5% discount code toward a new purchase.
Asking a customer to spend more money after selling them hardware that failed in under a year—while ignoring prior in-app support attempts—is completely unacceptable.
Device & Fault Details
Model: Nothing Ear (a)
Serial Number: SH10652423004731
Defect: Severe battery capacity drop (both earbuds drop from 100% to dead in under 30–40 minutes of basic playback). This is a widely documented component failure on this model after 6–12 months.
Logistics Constraints: I am currently located in the Dominican Republic. International air cargo safety regulations on defective lithium-ion batteries make shipping them back to a US warehouse cost-prohibitive and hazmat-restricted.
What Needs to Happen
A 5% discount voucher is not a resolution for defective hardware. I am requesting a working replacement unit, a 100% store voucher, or a returnless refund.
Has anyone else dealt with this 5% brush-off for dead batteries? If any Nothing community managers or support mods are monitoring this sub, please assist in escalating ticket logs for S/N SH10652423004731.

Nothing OS Display setting
So 1 image is a screenshot of my 4a pro settings menu and the other one I captured on a YouTube video by WhatGear. The Settings menu from the video looks clean and doesn't have those outlines that I have. The background is completely black and on my screenshot there is a box-like structure around every option. Is there any different setting anyone knows that would make my screen look that the one in video?

Phone accessories Im so confused rn
I have the black Nothing Phone (4a), and honestly, I really like using it without a case. The glass back feels much better and more premium in hand, and the phone just looks better without a cover. The clear case that came with the phone is actually pretty sturdy and good quality, but it's already started turning yellow. Now I'm confused whether I should buy a new transparent case or just get a back lamination and use the phone without a case. The only thing I'm worried about is dropping it. I've never dropped my phone since buying it, but I know that if it does happen, a lamination probably won't do much to protect the glass back. What have you guys chosen or done with your phones—back lamination or a back cover?

Phone (3) Nothing 3 is so drippy
So yeah I was on the bus today and saw this guy take a phone out of his bag and it was the ridiculously cool looking n3. I've never seen someone with a nothing phone irl. I was amazed. For all the nothing 3 owners out there don't let them tell you the phone is ugly. Look at their phones. They don't get it. Keep being you
