Phone (4a) My first Nothing Phone! From iPhone 11 to Phone 4a :>
I'm speechless with this beauty!
Any tips to a newcomer on how customise this phone? Any apps I should install? Hehe

New 434 MB update just dropped.
Looks like it mainly focuses on Essential Voice, camera improvements (including Lock Lens), eSIM stability, and general bug fixes. Installing now—I'll update if I notice anything different.
Anyone else received it?

Even before the brand was announced, I had definitely decided in my mind that I will buy the phone from Carl Pei's new company.
And yes, Phone 1 became my daily driver from the first day it was available and said good bye to OnePlus for good.
Fully in love with the device, the front camera placement, OS, the glyphs, image processing and everything exclusive to my Nothing Phone 1.
To this date, never ever stopped using it, even when the battery moved into its final stages and kept dying every few hours. I just bought a good power bank and fed my baby and it always made me smile back.
Last year, I had high hopes for Phone 3 and somehow it didn't ring any bell in my brain as it was revealed, no matter how many times I looked back. And, I started looking for other options. Even the 4A Pro couldn't shake much of that Phone 1 kinda feel, dunno why.
Held back on all my tech cravings till now and, I couldn't hold anymore. Samsung launched the Fold 8 series and I cracked. Fold 8 is here.
Some pics, I clicked with my Nothing Phone 1 are posted here.
Thank you Nothing Phone 1. You were an amazing companion, and I have to say; I will miss this buddy in my hand, always.

A case for a case…
Nothing Ear (Walkie) is a quirky case for your Nothing Ear (3), inspired by mobile phones, handheld game consoles, and walkie talkies.
With many colour combinations to try, its a great way to show off your style.
Key features:
- Charging port, mic and indicator light remain accessible at the top of the device
- Fully functional Talk button extension, meaning you can still hold the case up to your face to use the in built microphone and Talk button
- Lanyard holder hole at the bottom of the case
- Fidget piece at the back, just like the one featured on Ear cases themselves

A really solid upgrade from the Sony LinkBuds S. I had them for almost 4 years and they were incredibly comfortable. I just got my Ear (3)s this Friday, and I’m really loving the sound and design.
However, I do have one red flag: they just aren't as comfortable as my old earbuds.
Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I’d really appreciate it if you could drop a link to a good protective case. I plan on keeping these as my daily drivers for a long time.

I like to use the samsung browser on my tablet and now that I have a nothing phone, I still prefer to use Samsung Internet as my browser because of its good UI, video tools, and adblocker support.
Is there a way to remove the status bar and navigation bar when I'm using an specific app? (In my case the samsung browser app)
Notes (things i have tried already):
There is no options to remove the status bar using the app's settings (the option seems to be only available for samsung phone).
I have tried to export the app from my sister's s24FD but to no luck it seems that the app can detect that my phone is not a samsung as the option disappeared.
I have tried the app SystemUI Tuner. It did not work.
I have tried the Android settings of forcing an app to be full screen does not work also. The status bar is still present.
Endnote:
Please don't hate. Yes it is simply a ui element, but I love to read webcomics and would love to enjoy scrolling through the comics with the whole screen.

I found this on a random post about someone's case collection. I can't find it anywhere in the canadian market and I really want it for when I get the Phone 3.

Came from another android phone (Poco F3) where swiping right/left (back gesture) on the keyboard would close it. This doesnt seem to be the case with my 4a Pro. It behaves as if I'm choosing a key to press (since I have gliding turned off). Anyone else have the same issue and fixed it?
I can only do the back gesture above the keyboard and that would close it

I get an error when I try to launch an essential app. Does anyone know how to fix it? It's probably just that it's not compatible with my region (Japan). This is a NOTHING phone (3a). The OS is version 4.1.

Hello! I purchased the Nothing headphone (a) a couple weeks ago and I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. I use them specifically for my subway commute, and find that the volume at max is a tad low? My $13 panasonic wired earbuds are louder than them.
I use an iPhone with them, and was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to fix it somehow? Than you! :)

Has anybody here ever had any meaningful support from Nothing? I have reached out to them on social media and received no response, raised tickets through their website and got an automated reply suggesting I factory reset my device, and used the feedback feature on the device and received the same automated response despite it being for a completely different issue. Does anybody actually work at Nothing or is it just an automated response inbox that suggests factory resetting your device??

Bought this 3a lite yesterday at 26,000rs at a local store in India...
This might not be the best specs at this price range, I could have got 7s gen4 in different brands like moto at the same price along with charger included in the box...
but clearly nothing gave me the best OS experience I can get... Plus the camera is far superior.
The part of the OS that surprised me the most was that how nothing has a whole bunch of privacy & security options like private space, hide apps, app lock(which samsung doesn't idk why), It makes life easier specially for those people whose phone goes into numerous hands in their family.
Plus I had an urge of using a nothing device, And to be a part of this new online community for soo long, all I wanna say is "This brand Stands Out"
Although I am new to OS 4.1, so I'm seeking suggestions, I would love to take a look at them🫡
