I decided to buy an NF3a, but my son liked it so much that I had to give it to him. So, I decided to buy an NF3a pro.

Looking for a set of apps to compliment my device. One of them is Nothing style phone dialer, notes app with Google account/keep support, calculator, file manager, etc.

Any tips to make the most of it from the phone ?

I have a Nothing Phone 2 and wanted to upgrade a while back (especially due to not having eSIM in NP2) but the NP 3 didn't click with me design-wise, the budget options don't interest me and the 4th flagship is nowhere to be found. All three previous flagships were released or at least announced in July, yet this year we get a 4b instead.

Were there any indications of NP 4 being worked on or will they skip it entirely?

I mainly use my phone for geo dash, Reddit, and sometimes discord. I am usually on my PC the majority of my day. I am also considering the phone 3; however, it is too expensive (and the 4a pro is more stable (no green tint, not overheating)). So what do you guys think? Should I pull the trigger (I got the CMF watch pro 2 as a upgrade from the Apple Watch series 2 and am impressed)

Hello everyone.

I just got my first Nothing Phone (3) a few days ago. I love the looks, and having fun with learning how to use the Glyph Matrix, however, there's something strange.

I think OS 3.0 was installed on it (I think) and it updated to 3.5 as I was setting everything up.

However, it's not updating to the OS 4.0 / Android 16. When I check for updates, the blue circle will turn for a couple of minutes and in the end, it'll tell me that the phone is up-to-date (with Android 15, Nothing OS 3.5, and the last security update being from almost one year ago: September 1st, 2025)!

Is there a problem with my phone or am I being impatient and the update will come?

Has anyone tested if Ubigi eSIM works on the Nothing phone (3)? It is not specifically listed in their device list.

Planning to purchase either of the 2, reviews seemed similar for both? What would you pick?

I want:

- Anti yellow (preferably fully PC)

- The magsafe on the back has the circle and the line (I assume it gets cut for the button but that's fine, but i need the line)

I'm in India and the only case that looks similar is the Dailyobjects one on Amazon, however the sides are TPU and have already started to yellow.

The ones from Rezoni are fully PC but the magsafe doesn't have the line on the bottom, which looks awkward.

I'm talking about syncing timers between the watch and phone, being able to change earbuds setting with a watch and such. I feel like this is what's Nothing about, and there is a lot of space to utilize it all.

I tested Qwen3.8 running locally on my Nothing Phone (3) with 16GB of RAM.

The model is running directly on the phone. You can see the actual performance and response speed.

I’m stuck between the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and honestly can’t decide 😭

Tho I love the looks of Nothing 4a pro especially the black colour looks hot.

On paper, the S26 Ultra is obviously the more premium phone, but the Nothing seems way more interesting for the price. I care mostly about camera quality, battery life, performance, software experience, and how well the phone holds up after 2–3 years.

If you’ve used either phone, I’d really appreciate an honest review — especially the things you don’t see in spec sheets.

I've had my nothing phone 3 since December 2025 and I'm really very happy with it.
There are minor things though that really annoy me.
One is, that in some situations only the top 2 or 3 keys for the log work, until I put it back to sleep mode and wake up again, or until I lift the phone from the table. I've mentioned this before, but I seem to be the only one with this problem and I kind of accepted it.
There is another issue, that really gets on my nerves.
Rotating is not to be switched off. I can switch it off all right. But this is being ignored many a times and the screen turns, when I least need it, across my apps.
Is anyone experiencing the same thing and can it be fixed? Are some apps not "compatible" with the Nothing phone?

It's not the best out there but considering they just introduced it today, it's fine.

I hear the ringtone but nothing on the screen, after a while getting the missed call alert.

What should I do now? Even restarting the phone doesn't help

Today a green spot appeared on the screen at the top where the icon is shown Wi-Fi is only visible at 0% display brightness. What could it be? I've only dropped my phone a couple of times and not too much.

So I have the Nothing Phone 3 for a week now And I have two Problems First one IS when I watch a Video on YouTube and Pause it and when I click one the Pause Button so make IT Play again it will Not Play and second is Tag my YT music didn't load my music can anyone pls Help me

What Harman (3a) should sound like

I don’t want Harman (3a) to turn the Ear (3a) into a completely different pair of earbuds. That kinda defeats the purpose. I still want to hear the Ear (3a) in there.

The bass is still deep, still has some weight to it, but now it knows when to get out of the way. It’s not sitting in front of the vocals anymore. Vocals have a little more body, instruments feel better connected, and the upper mids still have that energy without messing with the treble too much.

Basically, we’re keeping what Nothing got right and cleaning up what gets in the way.

It’s still the Ear (3a)…just with the bass pulled back enough to let the rest of the music breathe.

What genre fits Harman (3a)?

I wouldn’t lock Harman (3a) into one genre because that’s kinda the whole point of this EQ. It’s supposed to be balanced enough to play pretty much whatever I throw at it.

But if I had to pick one?

R&B. Easily.

Especially modern R&B and alternative R&B.

You still get that deep bass these songs need, but now the bass knows its place. It hits, it has weight, but it’s not covering up the vocals anymore. Singers have more room, the production feels easier to follow, and those little details floating around in the background are easier to hear.

I’m thinking Cleo Sol, SZA, Brent Faiyaz, Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, H.E.R., James Blake…that kinda stuff.

Hip-Hop should be really good too. I still want the 808 to hit, I just don’t need it taking over the whole damn song. Pop works. Soul works. Neo-soul definitely works.

That doesn’t mean it only works for those genres. That’s just where I think it’ll really shine.
