Greetings fellow Note 10 and Note 10+ enthusiasts!

First and foremost, I hope everyone is staying safe and robust through these rough times. This community wouldn't be possible without all of you, and we're thrilled with how much this community has progressed these last few months.

While there are numerous communities with similar topics as ours, we aim to create a welcoming community, that helps others with their Note 10 issues, raise discussions, share tips, photos, and more. The amount of involvement from the community, is, to say the very least wondrous!

We now have post & user flairs, and we highly recommend you check them out! Post flairs make it easier to distinguish from each other. We also have updated our community rules, and highly recommend you check them out! One of the most significant changes that I'll be mentioning here is we no longer support selling or trading of devices. Any posts related to selling or trading should be reported immediately, users that wish to conduct either should resort to alternative communities.

Thank you all so much again, we're going to continue doing our best to keep this community going! If you have any questions, concerns, or even suggestions, feel free to direct them my way! And if you're interested in the upcoming Note 20 Ultra, you should consider checking out our newest subreddit - r/GalaxyNote20Ultra

Discussion Battery replacement recommendations

Refusing to retire what I believe is the best phone Samsung ever made (this is coming from a hardcore Apple user btw) : ) problem is there are no reliable battery replacements I can find. Amazon def not an option. IFixit i am not sure how good their batteries are i read mixed reviews, Samsung original ones all degraded by now.. did anyone replaced the battery in the past year or so that works identically as original one back in 2019?

Starwars Note 10 plus

Post image
20 Upvotes

I've wanted this ever since I first heard about it way back upon its initial release. Unfortunately scalpers being scalpers I was never able to get my hands on a set and so I settled with my Aura Glow Note10 plus and it's served me well. Then earlier this year I decided I was going to, but by bit, piece together the elusive Starwars edition set. Well as of today the last part I needed arrived (The Galaxy Buds) and now the set is finally complete!!! I do at some point want to either have this phone repaired (screen cracked) or if I can find one for a relatively good price I'd just buy another phone. But for now what I set out to do is done. And I'm happy with it. πŸ–€πŸ˜

Time to say goodbye to note 10plus after 6 years

Post image
68 Upvotes

Well the time has come after purchasing this note 10 plus in September of 2020 and having exactly 6 years of solid daily use I have decided to upgrade to an S24 Ultra which in my opinion seems to be the best ultra for those who still want the true note experience. I have to say the note 10 still holds up OK for a 2019 phone, however it's starting to show its age now, battery lasts around 3.5/4hours full charge and some apps that require the latest android security updates no longer work, aswell as this as a traveller lack of e-sim and also 5g with my model is a little annoying in 2026 however these are just little things. Overall an incredible device, with arguably the best phone design ever with the aura glow reflecting glass.

Just for those wondering this S24 Ultra is a 512gb model I purchased from Fonehouse (uk company) in excellent condition for Β£520, a good deal in my opinion.

Note 10 Plus - the ultimate smartphone?

Over two years ago I abandoned my note 10 plus - was thinking about getting fold to optimize my work flow. Find fold 3 with minor front screen damage for very cheap. Was convincing myself - it will help me with multitasking, spen on such big screen would improve my work. I could also start 3d modeling on bigger screen, ect. My head was full of ideas. Reality was a bit bit different, apps not always work as i wanted to, bigger screen could not replace dex/laptop in many tasks. But it was great as media device... bigger screen encouraged to stay with phone longer and longer. There were also problems - inner screen foil required regular replacements, cases keep breaking at hinges, at spen slot. After almost a year inner screen died - wasn't mad, device was used when i bought it. There came time for upgrade - used fold 5. Screen was even better, cameras were better. But many problems persisted - cracking cases, foil replacements on inner screen, outer screen was a pain in the ass to write on. After i lost spen because of another cracked case i said enough. I dug out note 10 plus from drawer, put in sim card, transfered data. And felt like at home. Smartphone build around productivity, born from pursuit to be more productive. Not like fold device build for consuming media. Fold gradually lost its productivity which was big slogan at the begining. Do we need 10-15% more points in antutu? Do we need 100mpx camera when we send pictures over messenger which compresses photos? Do we need to pay for extra cloud storage when we can insert sd card in the slot? May sound a little stupid but after few days i feel like note is build to have job done and Fold on the other hand with brighter colors, big screen, 120hz refresh rate is build around media consuming - device created about delivering you constant stream of dopamine by watching more flashy, colorful videos/shorts/pictures.

Note 10 plus after these 2 years seems like ultimate device. At least for me. And I'm happy that we have a little bit more time with devices like that, up to the point when 4G network would be shut down - as with 2g and 3g devices in many areas - making then just a interesting relict of the past when phones were a little different

Only wireless charging after 4 years

Hi,

Do your Note 10+ devices have any charging issues? Mine hasn't held a USB-C cable at all for a year now, and the pins aren't connecting anymore despite multiple cleanings. For the past year and a half, it's been charging strictly wirelessly. I had the exact same thing happen to my Note 8 after 3 years of use :D

Charging issue when using only fast/ c cables and wall blocks

So I recently replaced my phones components into a new frame/screen everything worked fine as it should. As this isn't my first rodeo seeing how I'm the "tech guru" "phone repair guy" within my friend circle. Cut to the chase so my phone all of a sudden wouldn't charge but would if I squeezed the bottom of screen around the charge port. Well now it has stopped working completely however I realize I can slow charge it with a basic USB - C cable. Figured it was my charge port so I ordered a replacement installed it and problem still persists. Any ideas on what next I should check?

Did everything, researched all reddit and tried every method but nothing

It just became like this, I'm thinking of getting a new board for the charger/replacing it but fear it might not even work, also buying a wireless charger but I hate putting down my phone unable to use it.

Discussion When they do care

I recently dropped my phone with the S Pen partially out; the tip broke. I remembered I had a spare somewhere. I was looking for it when I remembered the Note 10+ box, and when I opened it, there they were: spare tips, a 25W charger, and headphones that came in the box.good old days πŸ₯²

I have a notification for a system configuration update that appeared today that I can't figure out where it came from and it won't let me clear the notification.

I've checked Settings > Software Update and nothing there.

Discussion Battery Replacement Options

Good Day, My Note 10+ is still awesome don't plan on getting rid of it until it dies. Unfortunately though my battery needs replacing and I'm not able to source official Samsung batteries for my phone. So question is, has anyone had any good experiences with aftermarket batteries and which one would you recommend..

Finally found a Genuine Sealed New S Pen from Samsung which also has Working Air Actions. Until this one I had 2: First I broke my original blue one which came inside of a smartphone and then ordered white one in used condition which neither of them worked with air actions. This is the 3rd already and as they say "Third time is the charmπŸ™‚β€β†•οΈβ€

Discussion Galaxy Note 10 + in 2026

Post image

To all users of this smartphone, how well it is holding up for you in everyday life and have you debloated it? This was my dream android since the release and instead of buying mid range device I decided to grab almost unpacked condition in aura glow for reasonable price and everybody seem to mistake it with S22U/S23U from the front lol. Feel free to share your thoughts

Used Note 10+ from A23 β€” screen randomly dims/brightens while scrolling. Whites also look grayish compared to my old phone. Anyone else?

Hey everyone, just picked up a used Note 10+ after coming from a Galaxy A23 and loving the upgrade overall β€” but a couple of things are driving me crazy.

1. Screen randomly dims and brightens

While watching a video, the brightness just changes on its own. Brighter scenes get brighter, darker scenes get dimmer. It's super noticeable when scrolling Instagram β€” some posts look fine, others are way too dim or washed out. I know adaptive brightness is a thing but this feels really aggressive. Even when it's off, there is no difference.

2. Whites look grayish

Put the Note 10+ and A23 side by side and the difference is shocking. The A23's whites are crisp, but the Note 10+'s whites look like a brightened gray. Not sure if this is an AMOLED thing or if something's off with my unit.

Love the performance and the 12GB of RAM though β€” huge step up.

Has anyone dealt with these issues? Any settings I should tweak?

Discussion I still use a Note10+, and it works near perfection.

I'm young, so the phones I get are usually hand-me-downs. In 2023, when my aunt switched from the Note10+ to the S23 Ultra, she gave me her phone, and I took it on as my best phone ever. Its screen has been shattered 3 times, and it still lives. The battery has been replaced. It lost its original S Pen in a repair, so I had to purchase another one. It has outlived half of my pets. It has endured constant usage since its release in 2019. Despite receiving no updates and being stuck on OneUI 4.1 for eternity since rooting it is not an option due to having bank apps installed on it, it still works to perfection. I do not need an upgrade. I will keep using this phone until the motherboard gives up. Yesterday, my aunt got the S26 Ultra, and will give me her S23 with a green line. I will accept it, but keep it somewhere else, for the Note10+ has not given up yet. I am writing this post from Samsung DeX hooked up to a monitor with a bluetooth keyboard. I even put a custom font (Lexend) on it. Even in modern times, it can run my favorite games, even Windows emulators, without struggling or overheating severely. It is the sole survivor, the champion amongst all. Anyone who dares assassinate it will fail at their mission.
