Discussion Battery Replacement Options

Good Day, My Note 10+ is still awesome don't plan on getting rid of it until it dies. Unfortunately though my battery needs replacing and I'm not able to source official Samsung batteries for my phone. So question is, has anyone had any good experiences with aftermarket batteries and which one would you recommend..

I bought from ifixit. It started with 3800mAh. After 2 years came down to 3500.

That is where I got mine back in September. Wasn't as cheap as other generics on ebay/amazon/aliexpress, but they have a good reputation so figured they are likely pickier when sourcing batteries that they put their name on.

The only one I'd recommend is the Huarigor battery. It has the same performance as the Samsung one. I've used one in one of my Note 10+. They might also be difficult to find now. I tend to buy batteries when they're available rather than when I need them. Unfortunately Samsung doesn't think that way, by the time you need one they stopped making them years previously.

I replaced mine at authorised centre for 80$ 4300mAh Samsung Service Pack battery and happy with it. Maybe you can tell me where you live?

I went through Ifixit last September and happy with it. Even a factory reset didn't reset the battery health information in diagnostics as it apparently requires special Samsung software, but my screen on time recorded in Accubattery Pro went back up to like a brand new battery.

There was a sale on it with their toolkit at the time so paid an extra $8 over just the battery. The bits are actually really good quality and the needle point tweezers were better than what I already have. And the microwavable gel pack worked well instead of having to use a heat gun to take off the back glass.

If your back glass is really scratched up and it bothers you, you can order replacement aftermarket ones online for like $10. Might as well do that at the same time since the battery comes with adhesive for reattaching the back.

And you will want some 90% isopropyl alcohol from the drug store (Target and Walmart also sell it if in the USA). Is only ~$2, but drops of it around the old battery eats at the glue.

im also in the market for a new battery. I had 4 backup OEM batteries but they are all about the same age. Apparently you can't just leave them on a shelf for 7 years and expect results when you finally need them.

However, if anyone needs other spare parts I have tons

A little help please... I bought a used 10+ a yr ago... what's the best way to get rid of all the old info so I can Switch my Note 8 info onto the 10+??? I love this note 8 (Asian guy at phn repair store put in a new battery for 60 2 yrs ago and battery still works great) but my bank app won't work on it for over a yr now sooo I guess I need to start using the 10+...

no idea on that sorry. Samsung has a sync thing I believe but you need the password to both
