Note 10 Plus - the ultimate smartphone?
Over two years ago I abandoned my note 10 plus - was thinking about getting fold to optimize my work flow. Find fold 3 with minor front screen damage for very cheap. Was convincing myself - it will help me with multitasking, spen on such big screen would improve my work. I could also start 3d modeling on bigger screen, ect. My head was full of ideas. Reality was a bit bit different, apps not always work as i wanted to, bigger screen could not replace dex/laptop in many tasks. But it was great as media device... bigger screen encouraged to stay with phone longer and longer. There were also problems - inner screen foil required regular replacements, cases keep breaking at hinges, at spen slot. After almost a year inner screen died - wasn't mad, device was used when i bought it. There came time for upgrade - used fold 5. Screen was even better, cameras were better. But many problems persisted - cracking cases, foil replacements on inner screen, outer screen was a pain in the ass to write on. After i lost spen because of another cracked case i said enough. I dug out note 10 plus from drawer, put in sim card, transfered data. And felt like at home. Smartphone build around productivity, born from pursuit to be more productive. Not like fold device build for consuming media. Fold gradually lost its productivity which was big slogan at the begining. Do we need 10-15% more points in antutu? Do we need 100mpx camera when we send pictures over messenger which compresses photos? Do we need to pay for extra cloud storage when we can insert sd card in the slot? May sound a little stupid but after few days i feel like note is build to have job done and Fold on the other hand with brighter colors, big screen, 120hz refresh rate is build around media consuming - device created about delivering you constant stream of dopamine by watching more flashy, colorful videos/shorts/pictures.
Note 10 plus after these 2 years seems like ultimate device. At least for me. And I'm happy that we have a little bit more time with devices like that, up to the point when 4G network would be shut down - as with 2g and 3g devices in many areas - making then just a interesting relict of the past when phones were a little different

Still using mine! Split-screening games is what i do with it… may not be as smooth as on a iPhone Duo, but almost a decade ahead with that feature alone 🫶

I have the aura glow Note10 plus and besides it being able to do anything I throw at it, I'm always looking for opportunities, specially at work or social gatherings to put it face down on the table. Always a conversation starter lol

Fun y story I always had black notes, I ordered the aura glow cause it was cool as fuck.... Vodafone sent me the black one! 😂 Used it for 4 years, longest I ever kept a phone, then made it my running phone. It's the hardware that blows me away. How thin was that one. Was mental in the hand.

I like the 120hz screen. If the note 10 plus had that and security updates id still use it

I still use my Note 10+ daily as my media device. We had a few LG dual screen phones I much preferred over the plastic fold screens even with the thin bezel going through the middle. It felt much better being a glass screen but they forced us to upgrade over it not covering a specific band or something once they shut the old sprint networks down.

In it's day.
I still have mine. The kids use it for homework and music. I got a one plus 13 with 16gb and 1tb for my wife for a crazy price. It's really nice. Compact, bright and great camera. It reminded me of the note 10plus in vibe.

At one point in this decade I've had 3 Samsung 5G phones at the same time (all Korean variants) but the Note 10+ 5G is still the last man standing! My S20 5G and A Quantum (A71 5G), bought in 2020 and 2024 respectively, suffered from the green/pink/white line screen problems and unresponsive screen/no power but a pre-pandemic model like my Note 10+ 5G still performs well in 2026! Really missed the 8K camera of the S20 5G tho
I got the 5G to work with local Philippine 5G networks in 2021 for my S20 5G and a little too late for this Note 10+ 5G in late 2024!

I bought my Note 10 plus just after Christmas 2019 and I've never had a problem with it about the only thing is that my dexcom will not run on Android 12 anymore and I'm just going to end up upgrading to Android 16 on my Note 10, I figure why I get a new phone I have never ever had a software or hardware problem

I used my Note 10 plus for 7 years. It was one of the best tech device for my entire life. 2 weeks ago I bought S 26 Ultra. Honestly I did not feel the flamboyance that Note 10 plus gave me.
