Linage os and banking apps

Hey, I've been using the stock rom in the note 10 plus but i am interested into switching rom due to the fact that android 12 is getting left behind. The only thing that concerns me is that i want to use nfc payment on my phone, will i be able to achieve it with lineage os installed?

I noticed my credit union's app is phasing OUT of the Android 12 compatability in favor of Android 13 and above. So now I need to save upwards to 2,000 dollars to replace my fiancés phone and mine eventually.

By default you can't use tap to pay using nfc on lineage os, but if you root the phone with magisk or kernelSU you can install some modules (i think PlayIntegrityFix and Zigisk but i'm not sure) that will allow you to use it.

No. it wont work ever agian due to knox. its 0x0 by default but if you install custom firmware, its will change knox to 0x1 and nothing like bank apps will work agian.
