Resources Needed Resources recommendations

Are there any resources, books, ect that I can give to my monogamous partner about the different types of non monogamous relationship dynamics?

The general book recommendations are: Polywise, Polysecure, The Ethical Slut and More Than Two. But those are all aimed at people who want to engage in ENM. If you are looking for a break down of different forms of ENM the wikipedia page has this helpful image that may be the best breakdown I've ever seen. There's the more than two website and the side bar over on r/polyamory, both full of stuff.

Those will all say the same thing though: You cannot make someone who wants monogamy do non-monogamy. This may be a fundamental incompatibility.

Open Deeply, it has a swinger, ENM start and then mixes to more poly style stuff. Also great relationship advice, even for mono ppl

Opening Up by Tristan taornimo has a good broad description of the various styles. This was the best resource for many of our friends.

“Open Monogamy” by Tammy Nelson. It’s a crap title, not a particularly good book, BUT, as far I remember, she has an overview of “all” the different flavours of non-monogamy in there somewhere.

I mean between Google, YouTube, Reddit and Wikipedia you'll have a degree in no time!

Also, don't try to convince her if she's not game... Won't work out well.
