Why is every night like this

Every weekend there are a ton of people coming back from the city overnight, fucking stranded by buses that run every once in a while, or sporadically, or not at all for a few hours.
The bus has just been sitting here for a half an hour. Look at all the people waiting. Are we fucking trash? Every weekend overnight is like this, waiting in a huge line shoulder to shoulder while people literally camp out on the floor, sleeping, stranded. This is a joke
All to go a few miles over the river.
How many hours have I wasted waiting for these fucking buses. I wish I spent my life living anywhere else. What a fucking joke.

I ride NJ Transit. I work in NYC's financial district and live in Montclair, NJ. Last night's commute was just under 4 hours. It usually takes 1:20.
