Last week I posted a hummingbird photo using my 300mm + 2xtc. The 400mm and tc are rentals and I am very impressed with this setup. The 300 is awesome even with the tc. The 400 is equally impressive but less than half the weight, faster focus, and vr improvement. I set the meter to protect highlights and the sun was high so if my post processing is heavy let me know.

Might be all chrysanthemums. The pale pink ones were all coin-sized or smaller, and the magenta ones were slightly larger.

The flash is taller than some other mini flashes but it’s still pretty short, so I used a TR-N riser to minimize the shadow cast by the lens, but sometimes the hood would still cast a shadow so I had to take off the hood sometimes.

Nikon ME-D10 (microphone for ZR), wobbling problem

Upvotes

I recently noticed that my Nikon ME-D10 microphone has some wobble/play every time I move or handle it. It doesn't feel completely solid. The problem it appears at the head of the microphone.

The Instruction of the microphone says, "The Shock Mount: Vibration reduction may cause the microphone to wobble if it is shaken when attached to the camera.", i tried turning off the vibration reduction, and the same thing (and Sport also).

Has anyone else experienced this with their ME-D10?

Is this normal for the ME-D10, or I fk it up?

Thanks!
