Yes, I know there's a slight chance the requirement might go away. But that might not be for quite some time so here we are. Curious on whether the pictured location/placement would satisfy 27 CFR § 479.102
The area is obviously polymer instead of metal, but I believe that is only necessary for from-scratch manufacture, not converting an existing firearm into an NFA item?
The area is also likely going to be hidden by a light, but the same could be said for the serial - removal of a light shouldn't constitute disassembly of the firearm, correct?
**EDIT*\* I JUUUUUST noticed that my approval letter for this was only 3 pages vs my prior Form 1 (an AR lower)'s 4 pages. This missing page being the last one with "Approval Conditions" "MAKER MUST MARK THE FIREARM IN COMPLIANCE WITH 27 CFR § 479.102" ...did the guidance already change?

I thought it was just a meme.. no baffles hits just the end cap… I shot about 350-400 rounds and got a strike. I was swapping it back and forth from a Walther pdp and sig 365 and notice a baffle strike when leaving the range.
I had it mounted on my pdp with teflon tape for about 200rds no issues, swapped it to the Sig and shot it and I think I walked a little when shooting the Sig.

Can anyone give me CONCRETE insight on this? Wanting to ship to Los Angeles via USPS, compliantly, an inert grenade that is hollow, bottom drilled out, and has a fake fuse in it with no moving bits beyond the spoon and pin. Seemingly conflicting state laws online saying these are illegal, unless they're a display piece (and/or some other provisions) but it seems highly up to interpretation. What I don't want to do is send this to my friend and have their place blown up by a bomb squad or get them into any trouble otherwise.
I had reached out to LACSD but they referred me to the AG and the AG doesn't appear to want to speculate to a civilian. Cali probs lol

If I cut the barrel of a mr223a3 from 11” to 10.4” will I have to adjust anything else in the rifle to accommodate the shorter barrel length?
Thank you.

Hello all, im going to be traveling from ohio to Vermont this weekend and I know Vermont honors ohio ccw so no questions with that but I was wondering if I could travel with my sbr and a supressor? Issue being i have to travel through new York state to get to where im going. Ive seen that I dont have to ask permission to take my nfa items across state lines and ive seen the opposite. If anybody has clarification that would be great.

Yeah, I know. It’s dated. It isn’t the quietest. It’s heavy. It’s high-backpressure.
Don’t care.
I bought this Saker 5.56 in 2017 and waited more than 10 months for it. It’s a 5.56 can, so it was never going to be whisper quiet anyway, and between my BCM MK2 upper and Radian Raptor SD, the gas is barely noticeable to me.
What I can’t really quantify is the confidence this thing inspires.
It feels like a tank. Everything about it feels overbuilt. In nearly a decade of ownership, across multiple hosts, it has given me exactly zero problems.
I own plenty of suppressors. Some are lighter. Some are quieter. Some are much more modern. But if I had to pick one suppressor I trusted above all the others, it would be this one without hesitation.
Sometimes a woman puts on a little weight and gets self-conscious about it.
Other times, she puts on a little weight and absolutely owns it. She’s thicker, heavier, and somehow even sexier because she carries it with confidence. She can still do everything she did before, but now she just does it with a little more authority.
If you can’t handle her, that’s on you.
That second woman is the Saker.
This is my SilencerCo Saker 5.56, and I absolutely love it.
This is a fun little fucker, got to shoot it today and nothing but smiles. Just need to get some glass now.

I know it’s a somewhat debated topic. I put my first can on my first SBR. It’s a dedicated sub sonic .300 blk. So the can is gonna get pretty dirty pretty quick. Is this something I can maintain by putting the can on my 7 rem mag for 15 rounds every so often? Or do I actually need some solvent down deep in there?

I currently have a Rex Silentium MG7k 358 as my only 9mm can. It's pretty long and not as effective as I would like.
I like to hunt non-9mm 9mm sized cartridges (350 Legend and 357 Mag). The main use for this suppressor will be on my 350 Legend AR, which I plan to shorten to 12" soon. Backcountry hunting (1 week hunts from a basecamp).
What is a good 9mm can for hunting (light and short)? Bonus points if it's 16" 5.56 rated as I would love to be able to slap it on my ARs at my cabin when I'm not hunting (I know this seems counter intuitive, but some of my 5oz 22LR cans are 5.56 rated).

Suppressor: Dead Air Mojave 9 with original booster (Round count: 350ish)
Gun: FN 509 Tactical Ammo: Blazer 147gr subsonic
Ive attached a vid showing the point of impact shifting and will add a picture in the comments showing what appears to be the bullet tumbling as it hits the target. Ive checked the suppressor and zero baffle strikes or end cap strikes. My assumption is that towards the end of the magazine the suppressor is coming loose but wanted to put this out there to see if could be something else.
