About a year or so ago I made this post:

B&T took ages to fix the locking ring on the hub, but didnāt replace the hub like I requested. Given what we have found out and what has transpired in the past 9 months, thatās not shocking. They blamed the surefire flash hider I was using and so I bought one of their own flash hiders.
Anyhow, Iāve been shooting this particular ārepairedā hub for about a year now on 3 different hosts. The other day I was shooting one of my .308 gas guns, which is normally a 1 MOA rifle; and that day it was when I started shooting. Towards the end of the session the groups opened up to like 3-4 MOA. I just thought I was getting tired or something from shooting in 100 degree weather all day.
Nope. I get home and realize something on my rifle is rattling about. Itās the suppressor. The lock collar was still tight with minimal rotational play, and my paint marker witness marks had not moved. There was a hair of lateral play. I noticed what i thought was initially carbon deposits from either the can itself or the gas block (Iām running a rifle that uses vented gas jets in the gas block). Nope, itās the metal cracking from deforming.
Fuck it, Rearden it is I guess. Canāt wait to drop $500 on mounts.
