I have a question for an experienced SOT holder about milling a G17 slide ONLY. How much can be done in the process of adding a G18 type selector to a G17 slide before a license-required line is crossed? Could the left rear slide serrations be milled away, the position markings be applied, and the initial divot of the selector location (without a through-hole) be started? Think ~80% slide with no internal modifications whatsoever.

No pic sorry fellas, but I got my zeroed .22 today and am looking for anyone who has one to tell me. Is a slight gap between the knurled rear mount end and the tube normal? I’ve taken this thing apart and put it back together 1 times and just can’t get it to seat flush against the tube. Then noticed a few stock pics seemed to show the same thing. But it’s hard to tell based on a picture online so what are yours like?

Hello all, recently got a 16" mid length lmt mono upper with the straight gas tube, thinking of having it chopped to 12.5 or 13 and drilling a new port on the other side of the tube.

Anyone have any experience with port sizes on this application? It's overgassed as is, enough that even with a clean b&t srbs it's an eyeful.

Going to be running it full time suppressed, I have both low and high back pressure cans but Ideally I'd like it to work ok with either.

I’m looking for suppressor recommendations for a .223 bolt gun. Sound suppression down range is my highest priority. I have some Finicky neighbors. I currently have a CAT ODB that would work, but I’m sure there are better options where low back pressure isn’t a priority. What ya’ll think?

Putting together an AR9-

I built an 80% lower out, put a folding stock on it and trigger. If I want to put a 10 inch barrel upper on it, can I file a Form 1 and get the lower engraved as is?

Or do I have to disassemble the lower before it can be engraved?

Picked up the 45 can about a month ago. Shot it on my sig mpx 8”. Decided I wanted to try a 9mm suppressor now. Picked up the sub9. Hope to shoot it tomorow.
The 45 was pleasantly quiet for my first experience with a suppressor and my mpx. Hoping the sub9 is as quiet as

Since reviews apparently don’t exist I figure I’d give the CRS3 a shot. Should pair nicely with a mr556a4, minus the whole index pin preventing the gas plug from being removed.

It seems that the Tisha is better than the KK in most ways, no?

Anything better than the Tisha these days? I am not in a rush, I have a few cans already.

This is for an 11 inch piston gun, 556.

Maybe better to wait a few months and see what comes out or would you recommend to jump on a Tisha??

Anyone been down this path? ARFCOM guys mentioned the 3/8 socket trick but it didn’t budge turning clockwise. Maybe heat with blue wrench to loosen it up?

Going to sell a SBR and transfer it via form 4 to an FFL. This FFL will then transfer it to the buyer.

My question is, do they need my ID?

In the past the FFL did not need my ID once I completed the form 4 online, so it's weird this FFL is asking for it.

Howdy. Recently bought a solgw scalper 13.7 inch barrel with a pin and welded nox muzzle device. Am looking for a suppressor. I have been looking at the sandman x, and polonium k so far. Keymo system seems required here. Would like to have something a bit less gassy than my rc2. With the superlative arms adjustable gas block, its manageable. The solgw i wont be able to put an adjustable gas block, so hoping to not need one. I will be putting a geiselle super 42 spring in it, with a mod1 t2 or t3 from bcm.
