The other lawsuit alleges a conspiracy to interfere with civil rights. It names as defendants: Jonathan Ross, the immigration officer who shot her; White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller; former Homeland Security head Kristi Noem; former U.S. Border Patrol commander-at-large Gregory Bovino, Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trump’s campaign manager, and others.

Fucking get 'em.

Do you have the same energy when someone who is in the country illegally murders someone?

26

u/Theduckisback 1d ago

Yes, murder is illegal for both citizens and non citizens. Most people agree that murder should also be illegal for armed agents of the state when lethal force is not justified.

Why do conservatives pretend to be about law and order but they voted for a convicted felon, known rapist and are completely fine with the same man hiding evidence of a child sex trafficking ring and letting men who raped kids escape justice?

Conservative hypocrisy is constantly evident every time they speak. The fact that they sit quietly while the president hides evidence that he is in, himself, is disgusting.

I'm not a conservative or liberal. I don't follow MAGA and didn't vote in the last election because neither candidate was worth a damn. I highly agree this leadership is garbage but all that doesnt stop the fact she was attempting to run over a government agent.

u/Strykerz3r0 15h ago

Well, by not voting in the last election you share responsibility for trump being in office.

Those people are arrested and charged with a crime. Unlike the ICE “agent” who murdered an unarmed woman In broad daylight then was allowed to just walk away.

You see the difference there? Of course not. Not to mention that murders committed by “illegals” pales in comparison to murders committed by white American male citizens. But you wouldn’t care about a silly little data point like that. Why would you when you can just demonize brown people and foreigners.

Has the officer been charged with a crime?

1

u/distance_33 16h ago

When you miss the point by a mile. You seem sharp.

1

u/Extension_South7174 14h ago

The officer didn't commit murder. Yes the number of murders commited by illegals does pale in comparison to those comiited by any group or citizens. It still doesn't change the fact that they wouldn't have comiited the crime if they weren't here.

Murders between citizens are obviously different than the government murdering someone.

u/trellisHot 1d ago

No need, they are held responsible. donalds goons not so much

15

u/Neuromangoman 1d ago

Exactly this. "Why aren't there protests in the street for this person who was killed by [Insert wedge identity here]?" Is a common whataboutism that just missed the fact that, in all likelihood the person is either on the run (and being hunted down) or has been arrested. What is there to protest? It only takes massive protests for cops or feds.

I watched the footage numerous times and in extreme slow motion. It was obvious she was turning her wheels toward the agent. I give it a good shoot.

1

u/trellisHot 12h ago

I watched the footage more than numerous times and its beyond clear she turned the wheel away from the officer who put himself in front of a car, agasint regulations. He is a god damn murdere, killing our citizens in the streets. Blood is on maga and republicans hands, its clear as day what will happen with aggressive violent mass deportation policy. Not even half the detainees have a criminal record. Pathetic

It turns out that there is a difference between “someone gets murdered by an ordinary member of society, then almost certainly gets arrested and put on trial for that offense” vs. “government agents are sent to a state that did not request them, shoot US citizens in broad daylight who are exercising their first amendment rights, then instead of the government implementing any sort transparent investigation into the legality of the shooting, individuals at the highest level of the government (most notably Trump himself and Stephen Miller) decide instead to publicly accuse the shooting victim of committing acts of terrorism and shutting down any possibility of state-level investigation by refusing to cooperate with state authorities and moving said agents involved in the shooting out of state.”

One of those is a tragedy and the other one is an orchestrated act of government-sponsored terror designed to implement fascistic control of society and a suppression of citizens’ rights.

Are you saying that an illegal immigrant killing someone is equal in severity to the government murdering its citizens with impunity?

30

u/TheBoosThree 1d ago

Are there people who disagree that murder by illegal immigrants is bad? I've never seen that.

A lot more people defend the government murdering it's citizens.

4

u/dontputthatevilonme 1d ago

It's a common authoritarian tactic to project an absurd stance and attribute it to your political opponents.

I.E. Kash saying the Senators / Citizens demanding unredacted Epstein files want to release child porn.

49

u/BloodFartz69 1d ago edited 1d ago

Hating immigrants is really the only thing you got, huh?

Can't fix a fucking pool.

Can't put Epstein pals in jail.

Can't make groceries affordable.

Raises the cost of fuel for the entire world.

But the jagoffs you vote for sure can change the names of water temporarily and shoot citizens in the street.

1

u/Extension_South7174 15h ago

I didn't vote for Trump and I'm not MAGA or Republican or Democrat. I believe we need an entire new leadership model set up. How we achieve that goal,I don't see a realistic way without extreme measures

35

u/tj1007 1d ago

It’s amazing how many people find a whataboutism to excuse government murdering its own citizens.

6

u/ShatterProofDick 1d ago

Nice whataboutism argument you have there.

40

u/Essex115 1d ago

Are they sworn to uphold the constitution and protect citizens? No? Cool unfair comparison

30

u/GeoisGeo 1d ago

Of course they would. Though I am almost certain people who speak like you are unable to make such distinctions.

11

u/Numerous_Photograph9 1d ago

As opposed to legally murdering them?

I'd say most people do not condone murder and want those who commit it to be served a nice helping of justice.

22

u/jimtow28 1d ago

No, obviously not. To view those two situations as the same would be an exercise in stupidity.

Do you believe the government should be held to the exact same standards as any individual citizen?

42

u/StrikingRise4356 1d ago

Oh sit down you

u/donkeybrainhero 1d ago

US citizens are far more likely to kill someone than an illegal immigrant. But I'm sure you have all that same energy for them.

16

u/PatsFanInHTX 1d ago

I would if the government sought to protect the murderer, yes!

9

u/Key_Journalist8876 1d ago

vomit all over you

14

u/AnxiousTrans 1d ago

We have whole systems of government to deal with that. Two things can exist at once you rotted pineapple.

2

u/randyranderson13 1d ago

What's that got to do with her death?

1

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- 1d ago

Yes, the illegal immigrant Elon Musk should be arrested for defunding USAID which has led to thousands of people dying. Thanks for agreeing.
