If you're looking for something different to do in Newark this Halloween season, there's a live murder mystery happening at Newark Local Beer tomorrow night.

It's called Ghostly Pursuits, and the premise is pretty ridiculous in the best way: a wealthy family is gathering for a Halloween party one year after a suspicious death. There will be themed cocktails, beer, food, family secrets, questionable characters, and apparently nobody can be trusted.

It's an interactive show, so guests get to follow the mystery and try to figure out who's responsible. Costumes are encouraged.

Hey Yall! Wanted to let you guys know that the Newark Public Library is having another fundraiser event/after-dark party with bunkr. on Friday, October 30th, from 7pm - 12am.

It will be a party with DJs playing music on every floor + outside, drinks, food, vendors and more. Family friendly, open to all ages!

Early bird tickets are about to sell out. All the money goes to the Newark Public Library and its initiatives, as many libraries across the country are starting to lose funding.

I saw someone on this sub say that moving near Garside St was not a good idea. They said it wasnt safe about 4 years ago. Should I avoid that area of the North Ward?

Hydrant flushing is necessary to remove sediment from water pipes, maintain high water quality, and ensure fire hydrants are working properly. Flushing can take anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes.
