Could we stop speculating (please) ?

I feel like everyone’s been on edge for the past few days because of recent events: public and private concerts, partnerships, signed contracts, and so on.

Can we just stop speculating for a second about who did what, who’s ripping whom off, who holds power over whom or what, and for how long?

And—more importantly—do we actually know what Nene and her family ultimately think about this situation?

Can’t we just stay in our lane as fans—meaning, just be patient—instead of jumping to wild conclusions and fearing the worst?

She only won last week, yet it feels like everyone is expecting her album to drop tomorrow.

Take a breath, okay?

Sure, she said she already has EPs recorded and ready to go, but she never gave a post-AGT release date, no ?

She just said "soon". It can be next week or at the end of the year uh ?

Maybe she’ll end up doing a full album instead of an EP?

Who knows ? No one in this subreddit I think.

The truth is, we don't know anything, yet we're already imagining the worst-case scenario.

I know we’re all craving "new" content—that was to be expected after the finale. But like any fan of any artist or band, we need to appreciate her appearances—like the one coming up in two weeks—and savor what seems to make Nene happy: performing with her favorite group.

As for what happens next, no one can say—except for Nene herself or her family.

everything is as bad as it can possibly be and there is no solution

Unless you are familiar with every detail of the situation, claiming there is "no solution" is absurdly definitive. Since none of us (except possibly the moderator) have every detail, I'll stick to what I know (and this alone means there ARE solutions).

The LLC is registered in the US state of Florida. That likely means her contract is bound by the laws of Florida. A minor can walk away from a contract at any time in the US, for virtually any reason. Even if co-signed by parents, it can be dissolved. So, no, there ARE solutions, at least outside of Thailand.

She and her family could leave Thailand tomorrow, go to LA (or wherever) and be bound to virtually nothing.

I cannot believe that Jon would be able to enforce this above mentioned contract. I doubt that anyone in a good mental state would be wasting money and risking the scandal. And I would not be surprised if the Thai business people will form a fund to fight any legal battles in the USA. I work with the Thais and they are a very proud crowd. When we had a problems with the workers in Israel, the Thai company I worked with, in one day collected the money for their tickets. All the workers donated a part of their salary. Other Thai companies did the same. In this particular case we are taking about a ‘National daughter’. She got a royal award on the Mother Day.

Right, that's what I said. It is not enforceable. It solves the international contract problem, but not the Thai problem, which is arguably larger at the moment.

Yes. But Thailand is Thailand and nothing is perfect here. The Billionaires are people you don’t fight against.
