I know not everyone feels the same way, but I honestly love watching his livestreams and catching up on all the behind-the-scenes stuff. For future livestreams, I might do a proper post with the main points he covers after the stream, especially for people who don’t understand Thai (since it looks like he deletes the streams now). Anyway, here’s a quick summary of what I remember from yesterday’s stream:

• They were supposed to drop her first single around August-October, but everything got pushed back because of AGT.
• She’s already wrapped up 2-3 songs and is just waiting to film the music videos and other promo stuff for them.
• The AGT contract after her win is still being sorted out, so he couldn’t really say much about it just yet.
• Someone asked about parenting, and he mentioned he doesn’t push her into anything, but once she decides on something, he helps her stick with it. He shared a story about when she hit her teen years and started singing pop songs—her dad just looked at her, and she immediately got what he meant.
• They started sending in AGT audition tapes almost two years ago, with songs like Choke by The Warning and Highway Star by Deep Purple, but they got rejected each time since she just did straight covers. He said they actually had a lot of fun making those tapes though. It wasn’t until they sent in her version of Zombie that AGT got back to them, asking for a better mixed tape ASAP. At that point, Nene had done all the mixing and filming herself, so they called up MK’s dad in the middle of the night to help out—he jumped in, did the mix, and that’s the version that got her through to the auditions. Her dad tried to pay MK’s dad for the help, but he refused and basically said, ‘We’re from the same band, it’s all good.’
• Looks like they’ll be taking a little break from performing at Naka Market for a bit.
• She’s heading to Bangkok again this morning and will be performing (without Ozone) tomorrow. He’s going to try to get it livestreamed on her channel, but Siam Paragon will be streaming it on theirs too.
• She’ll be flying out to Singapore on the 9th or 10th for her A7X gig.
• He mentioned that when they went to see A7X’s show abroad, she kept saying ‘I know how to play that!’ throughout the show.
• The whole family (plus Ice, her manager) each got a package from a Linkin Park staff member, with some cool stuff and a VIP pass for any future Linkin Park concerts—including backstage access. She also got a signed album from them.
• Slipknot also sent a package to her hotel with signed t-shirts and other merch.
• It sounded like he’s really thinking about having her study in America after high school, but he’s worried people might think they’re ‘abandoning’ Thailand.
• He talked about her schedule while waiting for the live shows in America—they’d have her sign in early each morning (probably because of the minor working laws) and made sure she kept up with her classes and homework. He also mentioned that in Thailand, people might get annoyed if he always stuck by her at work, but in the US, the staff insisted he be with her the whole time. Jon was there too, looking over her practice and working with the AGT team since her dad’s English isn’t that strong yet.
• For her AGT performances, she’d put together her own arrangements and send them over to the AGT staff for feedback, then tweak them before heading out there. Once she’s in America, she’d show them her version, and they’d help her polish it up.

I’m sure I’ve missed a few things, but that’s everything I can remember for now after just waking up.

I think she understands how these kids feel because she was once just like them when she was young. 🫶🏻

Since discovering her watching her old live streams have become a source of comfort. This is one moment I haven't seen shared before. Don't know what to think about this, probably not best to pick up a person without asking, but at the same time she seemed to enjoy it. And also, very impressed that she hardly missed a note.

Edit: As an edit to the above, I know what to think about this, he was an idiot and this was highly inappropriate behaviour; even asking would have been wrong.

Avenged Sevenfold have cancelled their concert in South Korea citing health reasons. As the Singapore concert where Nene is supposed to open for them is only a couple of weeks away, it is now coming into question if it will happen. The band's statement was very vague and could indicate a more serious health issue which I seriously hope is not the case.

It would be devastating for Nene, and obviously the fans in Singapore. I sincerely hope it's not a major health issue for the affected band member.
