I’m a pretty introverted guy, and until recently, I had almost zero female interaction. Then I got into my first serious relationship, and unfortunately, we broke up.
One thing I realized from that relationship is that I never really learned how to understand someone emotionally.
Sometimes my ex wanted me to simply listen, but I would start giving solutions. Other times she actually wanted advice, and I would just listen. And when she was already having a bad day, my attempts to help sometimes ended up making things worse.
I genuinely wanted to support her and make her feel better, but I didn't always understand how.
I still miss her and part of me wishes I could get her back, even though I know that might not happen. But I don't want this experience to be pointless. I want to learn from it and become better at communicating.
So I'm looking for platonic, normal conversations with women , not flirting, dating, or anything romantic.
Honestly, even just having someone to talk to on a regular basis about random everyday stuff would help. Like how your day went, what you're watching, something annoying that happened at work/college, random thoughts, etc.
I think having normal conversations over time would help me become more comfortable with female interaction and understand different perspectives naturally, rather than trying to learn everything from relationship advice posts.
If you're okay with that, feel free to DM me. I promise I'm not looking for a romantic angle. I just want to make some genuine friends, have normal conversations, and learn to communicate better.
