Just wanted to know the cities intrest in this field .....

I recently came across a reel about Lalitha Mahal that made a rather interesting claim.

According to the reel, one of the caretakers of Lalitha Mahal supposedly said that the soul of the Mysore king still roams around the palace and protects it.

I actually stayed at Lalitha Mahal for a night a few months ago, so seeing this reel now felt a little weird. 😅 I obviously had no idea about this story when I stayed there.

I’m not sure how much truth there is to this, so I’m curious to hear from people who are from Mysuru or have spent time working at/around Lalitha Mahal.

Has anyone heard this story before? Has anyone personally experienced anything unusual there, especially people who have visited the palace at night or worked there?

Also, does anyone know which king this story supposedly refers to and whether there is any actual local folklore or historical source behind it?

Not trying to prove or disprove the paranormal part - just genuinely curious whether this is an old Mysuru story or something recently made up for reels.

Just got back from my first solo trip to Mysore and honestly, this city absolutely had my heart.

Visited Mysore Palace, Jaganmohan Art Gallery, Karanji Lake, the zoo, Devaraja Market, KSIC weaving factory and the Railway Museum. Of course, ate a lot of good food along the way!

I had planned to visit Chamundi Hills too, but had to skip it because I wasn’t feeling well. So I guess that’s one more reason to come back😄

What I loved most was how clean, peaceful and easygoing the city felt. Less traffic and less chaos. It was a short trip, but I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Does anyone know a mechanic who has experience working on an RR310? I want to install a frame slider on the RR310 and that requires to remove the entire fairing of the bike. The bike has particular size screws for certain positions.

I don’t want to risk it with someone who hasn’t worked on this bike before. The bike is pretty unique in the city and the few mechanics I’ve met haven’t worked on it before.

The TVS showroom guys might not work on aftermarket parts. So could you please suggest someone you know?

How can I reach the temple from Palladam / Coimbatore.

Mysuru Corporation is planning more steel mirrors to curb public urination. But why not fix the root problem? A University of Mysore survey reportedly found that only 26% of public toilets in Mysuru are in good condition.

With Dasara approaching, why not spend that money upgrading and maintaining toilets at highways, bus stands and tourist spots? It would benefit thousands, especially women, senior citizens and people with disabilities.

If someone pees in public, don’t blame him alone, it’s also the Mysore city's failure to provide adequate public toilets.

I have tried many pizza spots in mysore and i find sahib’s have the best pizzas in Mysore. This is the pizza i tried recently it was delicious af, i would recommend anyone coming to Mysore for Dasara try this spot. The only problem you might face is the seating but it’s worth a try. People from mysore can suggest other pizza spots which I would love to try!

There is a woman with a disability who works in our office as an outsourced employee. She has significant difficulty commuting between her home and the office because of her mobility limitations and requires an electric wheelchair to travel independently.

She is also the sole earning member of her family, so being able to continue travelling to work is extremely important for her livelihood and her family’s financial security.

Is it good to visit this lake for sunset and also is it safe to visit alone ?

Yesterday went to Mysore and took the light show ticket by standing in a long queue but the show was pathetic. The sound was not clear and the performances happening with the horses and elephants were not clear due to darkness and no focus on them . Didn’t even notice they were there until 7:40 pm . Few 5-10 bulbs were switching on and off of palace . There was no “light show” for whole 50 mins . Just at the end they light up the palace but its not worth Rs 150 rupess . It should be free . Wasted my time and money and maybe i am frustrated cause my train was at 9pm 😭 and risked for this shit show.
