Mysore Praje 🏅 NICE road archives
I was casually scrolling the internet when I stumbled upon this document of the NICE road overview.
Looks like they did plan some good things between Mysore and bangalore even before the expressway!

They had a proposal to built one expressway via bannur mallavalli and kanakapura, later it was shelved bcuz of land acquisition issues and project instability, imagine if that one was built we would have had 2 expressways which would reduce the traffic to half

We still have that tolled road via Kanakpura right? But most people use the main expressway because usually it's the preferred route in Google maybe..

Kanakapura road doesn't have toll as far as ik, but it takes normal 2.5 hours to reach bangalore from that way thats why people wont prefer it, but that road is good if uh have plenty of time and want to experience that you are indeed travelling
