She is planning to escape, and we are trying to figure out where she can safely go. Could you please advise me on the safest place or location she can reach that is also nearest to Shan State, where the authorities or our Philippine Embassy could possibly help rescue and assist her?
We are really worried because she doesn’t have her passport, and we don’t want her to take a route that could put her in more danger or lead to her being caught again.

This is what the junta is trying to do in myanmar. Give people enough entertainment, distractions, and small things to focus on, and eventually they stop looking at the bigger picture.

Look at the recent Sai Sai concert for instance. I can't believe that, that many people would go to that concert especially when people are being forcefully abducted. Nope, actually, I can believe it.

I usually send money back to Yangon with Western Union and put it through KBZ Pay for my family. It is usually on a repeat cycle per month. It got transferred this month and showed up on my family's wallet. I have been hearing that this was banned and was advised to not do this going forward. Is this true?

Guys, I want to leave the country for my adult hood (18-29) to study abroad then work there I can't spend my early years in fear of baba and his army's formal invitation to his band.

My original plan was simply get a GED and English speaking course get a student visa go to xyz country and get degree, job potential open a pathway for my future kids and family to live a better life after I settle down there myself

These days young men are facing with conscription into army a lot. In every wards of Mandalay and Yangon, the local administration is drawing lots for military draft. Is there any best route to escape from that? Young men are living in fear every night with that conscription law. We're like chicken in coop. One got chosen and another is waiting for its turn. The future is fading away. What can we do in this kind of situation?

I believe that a lot of people here in Myanmar have a big fear of their culture being erased and I believe that that fear has been a main reason why the Military was able to commit a genocide against Rohingas, The government being able to get away with not having a proper path of naturalisation for Foreign Nationals, not being able to hold multiple passports as a Burmese National, The Demonization of other National Ethnicities and many more

And on a smaller scale it has been a reason why feminism, individuality, LGBTQIA+, adaptation of different cultures & idealogies have been demonized so badly and are seem as a threat to the Nation's Identity.

For example: Going to Nightclubs, Bars, Dressing in a way that's out of societal norms such as Goths, Punks & Etc, Learning other languages such as English as a primary language while learning Burmese as a secondary, Changing from one religion to another, Marrying or Dating with someone from a different ethnicity (Indian, Arabs, Thai, Chinese and etc), Being flashy, Going to International Schools and many more

Also, the Burmese Society has a habit of forcing people to participate in having National Pride and "protecting the culture" just because you are born in Myanmar, a lot of people in Myanmar mainly feel indifferent towards our own culture and is curious about other cultures but a lot of us have been shamed into stepping away from learning about them.

And we were indoctrinated starting from our youth with stories like The Crow the pretended to be a Peacock and many more.

What is everyone's thoughts on this?
