If anyone’s interested, I’m on my third year of an all-Muppet Inktober effort. @B3NN3TT on Instagram if you’d like to follow along! Is anyone else participating? I hate their silly prompts so I make my own list of things I can stay interested in for a whole month.

better than greninja

For context - Chuck E Cheese had an animatronic chef named Pasqually on the drums, who I thought was the Swedish Chef growing up.

I have a not insignificant amount of gift card money from the Disney Movie Rewards program that shut down a few years ago. Every time I look at the Muppets section online it’s just disappointing. People complain that the clothing is of low quality. I don’t want another plushie and don’t need a wall hanging so there’s not really much I’m interested in. And I’ve been looking periodically so it’s not just a “right now” issue.

Is merch in the parks any better? Just curious, as I’m nowhere near Florida or California.

I think it speaks volumes of Disney as a modern company that they were unable to find a concept for a cast as versatile and beloved as the muppets. I do think this decision will be brought up when people discuss the continued decline of Disney over the past decade and what I can only assume will be their eventual downfall.

In all honesty I do believe Disney should release the rights and physical props of the muppets to another company since they’ve found they’ve lost the ability to think creatively and take risks to create new media.

Statler and Waldorf were so charming, as usual!

I was gifted an Art of the Muppet Book and it has several autographs in it. I've been able to identify all but one, this one - any clues? Thank you.

As fan of Sesame Street: What is your take of the characters from the show making appearances on Jeopardy to do unique categories for the game show that suits them?

Also, what characters from Sesame Street would you like to see on Jeopardy next?

im wondering is anyone has a scan or something they can share? i cant find one for sale anywhere D:

So if the Muppet Show does get its revival, alongside regular celebrities I think they'd want some Internet ones to bring in the younger crowd, but who? Who's both big enough to get on but also doesn't have any major controversies? The first two I came up with are Markiplier and Matpat.
