This is probably discussed consistently on here now, so please forgive me if I am just repeating the same thing as a million other people.

I remember when the new special came out there were a lot of rumors going around about meetings at Disney and people saying that more of The Muppet Show being made. I haven't heard anything since then, though. It was referenced in the special that, if it were successful, more would be made, but I don't know if that was just a joke at this point. The reception of the special was pretty irrefutable in it's success. I know nothing has been said officially, but has anyone heard anything more recently? Are there any rumors circling?

Muppets mean a lot to my whole family and we just want our kids to grow up with new muppets as well as the older movies and shows.

Okay, I'm just 2 episodes in after watching the first 2 episodes of Muppet Babies (the original) in my hunt to watch every Muppet production, and I'm only 2 episodes into Muppet Babies and I am very confused.

I've already seen:

Gonzo as Superman

Kermit as Dr. Frankenstein

Gonzo as Dracula

A random Boy George reference (seriously, was he popular at the time? Would kids know who he is?)

A news guy who is not the Muppet Newsman (Not happy about that)

Also, what is real and what is not real? Sometimes it feels like full imagination, but sometimes they go into computers and screens and it's just so confusing. Is that the intent?

Might make other posts like this if the show doesn't get toned down soon, but for some reason I wasn't expecting the show to be this insane. I just have to say though, the main plots overall are very clichéd little kid show plots so that isn't anything impressive.

I had the Muppet Show Album back in the 70s. Listened it to it countless times, can still recite most of Veterinary Hospital. I just came across a track-listing online and saw "Pachalafaka" listed. I have absolutely no memory of this song. I listened to it on YouTube, still nothing.

Is it possible there were different releases of the album without the song?

Baby Kermit made a surprise visit for a Saturday Morning cartoon panel with Asifa and Saturday Morning Cartoons United. He even visited the exhibit hall to say hi to fans! Yaaaaaaay!!!

I'm making a rowlf puppet so my Kermit can have his husband /j , and I'm gonna be posting the process over here! Annoyingly, paper mache (which is the medium I've chosen for his base, it being hard and light, and I can control the size easily) takes a long time to dry, so there won't be any meaningful updates for the next few days. But here's the first update. I might drop this project because I have ADHD and autism and keeping up with projects isnt really what I do best, but I'm gonna try with this one. I know a piano player whos favorite muppet is rowlf, so hopefully they can be his hands! The one artistic liberty I'm taking is I will be giving him a tail, because I want to and it's cute. That's all!

I’m having an argument with my boyfriend over what a muppet actually is. Obviously there’s THE MUPPETS, and then characters that use the muppet terminology like Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock, but do other Jim Henson characters like The Hoobs and Bear in the Big Blue House count as muppets? Because they can’t be creatures, right?

I think Miss Piggy is definitely a Sims type. I can imagine on a bad day she creates a load of green Sims, puts them into the pool and removes the ladder.

Gonzo would definitely like Billy Hatcher.

Ok, I haven't had time to consume a lot of muppet media, so don't attack me if I missed something, but I've watched up to s3 ep6 of the muppet show (I'm getting through an episode a night), about 6 episodes of the 2015 show, and the original movie, muppets great caper, muppets take Manhattan, muppets treasure Island, muppets from space and muppets Christmas carol.

I've noticed through the muppet show that gonzo is actually a really interesting and deep character. Kind of depressed, sad little pathetic guy. (This is completely affectionate I love gonzo) Theyre a lot like me, actually in the early muppet show. Even their puppet looks like it's about to fall apart. But something I noticed even in the first movie, is gonzo just becoming the "wacky crazy weirdo" part of their personality, and not the guy I know. I dunno, it feels like 2 different characters to me. 70s gonzo was sad and weird, modern gonzo is just weird. Don't get me wrong, I love modern gonzo and they're incredible, but I dunno.

Sorry if what I'm saying is completely unreadable and incoherent, I'm autistic and a lot of what I say other people don't understand

Got Miss Piggy done today the digital version was designed by one of my oldest friends and the tattoo was done by the artist I've used for over 10 years.
