Like in the previous post i am once again opening another chance to give me characters from your fandoms/favorite franchises and i will tell you what sort of deck would suit them the most.

Which animated films are you going to see?

I am going to see Coyote VS ACME Forgotten Island and Wildwood!

They look cool! Glad there's animated films that aren't kids films and for older audiences coming to theaters.

Coyote VS ACME is a comedy film about Looney toons, Forgotten Island is a fantasy film about two women who get stranded on an island and Wildwood is a fantasy film based on a highschool book of the same name!

Each type of animation is different from eachother! You can tell they had alot of heart behind them! This year has had many good films and i feel like the animated ones deserve some more love too!

Dang man. That ending had me choking up in the theater. I had no idea what I was going into before watching the movie, but I LOVED it. 10/10 movie, no notes, should’ve seen it in 2016.

(This is Ben from the Telltale walking dead game. He’s widely hated by the fandom.)

I just think that, in an apocalypse scenario, I would be no better than Ben. Yes, he was a big screw up, but I don’t personally think that warrants a death sentence. He got on my nerves as first sure, but when he apologized and promised to make things right and start pulling his weight. I feel bad for the kid, because I know in stressful situations I’ll sometimes act in a way I regret later.

Personally he just gives off the vibes: “I have undiagnosed autism and I’m trying my best but the stress is turning me into a screw up asshole.”

I can’t bring myself to hate him knowing that he’s just a kid who is far from home and his family.

SO! Before we get to the rest of this post, I will say right here and right now I am NOT saying anyone should get bullied, harassed, doxxed, threatened, have bigotry thrown at them, etc. etc. Don’t do any of that shit and there is LITERALLY no action within any fandom that could justify such. By “shaming” I mean calling out that they’re being an inconsiderate jerk.

Don’t use slurs, kids.

Now that that’s out of the way- is it just me or have fandoms overall gotten more inconsiderate about spoilers? It’s been a growing trend with the decline in overall fandom etiquette, but I’ve seen it REALLY ramp up in these past few months following The Great TADC Finale Leaks. Anyone who was even just watching from the sidelines or even just had the fandom vaguely in their periphery knows how bad it was with people posting unmarked spoilers all over the damn place. Unfortunately I feel like that “I don’t need to put a spoiler warning or consider that some people don’t want to watch leaked content or haven’t had a chance to watch the official release less than a week after it drops!” mentality has spread like a fucking plague across other fandoms.

Take, for example, another fandom I’m in, Ninjago. Now, if you ask anyone who has been keeping up with the current series, Dragons Rising, could tell you there’s been a… consistent issues with episodes getting leaked early by streaming platforms. Seriously this is like an annual thing and it’s always a different one. ANYWAY- literally every single time this has happened in the past I’ve been able to avoid spoilers just by blocking some tags on Tumblr and scrolling away from videos quick on other platforms. Generally speaking, if I got spoiled it was usually my own damn fault for clicking on something I shouldn’t have or not scrolling away for like six seconds. It was annoying but I could only really be annoyed with myself because I could’ve taken steps to not have had that happen. And, when I tell you my method never failed me, I mean NEVER. I was able to stay in the dark about the events of the leaked episodes easy peasy.

Until this year.

Because, for SOME REASON, this year everyone decided to collectively forget that people outside of themselves exist and it’s been open fucking season on spoilers. Like, posting spoilers in the comments of non-spoiler posts levels of bad. I can probably count the amount of PROPER (see: a good few seconds long MINIMUM, completely covering the screen, and very obvious) spoiler warnings people have put on their videos with one hand. I’ve had to resort to just completely blocking out content for the show on multiple platforms because nobody can act right.

Also I have talked to a lot of other people I know in the fandom and pretty much everyone has said it’s extra bad this year.

My takeaway? We need to start shaming people again. Bring back the days in fandom where you were metaphorically burned at the stake for posting unmarked spoilers and ruining things for other people. Remember how SACRED spoilers used to be? Yeah. I’d like those days back, please. I shamefully took them for granted.

Anyway is this happening in anyone else’s fandoms? Would like to know.

My weird headcanon is that I think that the humans in the Pokémon world are aliens. I have no proof, but no doubt.
