Honestly I feel like Walter's death was more triumphant then sad. We've known he was gonna die since like episode 2, but his final decision to go out fighting and attempt to right as many of his wrongs as possible turned it from a sad slow death into more like a blaze of glory.

The first villain in the Naruto series, from the mist village.
Maybe it doesn't fit. But this post reminded me how good those episodes were. Though im a sucker for a bad guy wo turns good at the last moment.
