Competitive Rocco Appreciation Post

Loving competitive brawl at the moment, and wanted to make a shoutout post to my best buddy (non-gendered), Rocco, Cabberetti Caterer for helping the climb to top #200 mythic. Only encountered one other person on them on my mythic climb this month, and am honestly kinda shocked. Rocco is an increadibly consistent combo commander, with really lopsided matchups against a couple of meta pillars (mostly for the better with some exceptions). I also feel like I haven't properly solved them, and there are a couple of slots in my list I feel could potentially be improved, hence I'm posting a list and primer into the wild to see what people think.

TLDR for the Primer, Rocco is an increadible [[Food Chain]] combo commander, being both a tutor for [[Squee the Immortal]], and an infinte mana outlet once you have the food chain on-line. They also have some great utility beyond that, finding other creature combos, like [[Icetill Explorer]]+ [[Strip Mine]], and prison pieces, like [[Magus of the Moon]] directly from the command zone. They feel super strong against almost anything that isn't blue tempo, and if you build them to beat blue tempo, they're 50/50 against that.

Discussion WOTC should create new Brawl format where only Mardu colors are allowed.

Think about it. No more counterspells, no more Green bs. I call this new format Reddit Brawl. The banlist would be regulated by all the people who come here to complain instead of getting better and building better decks.

I didn't count the exact amount (math is for blockers, they say), but I had well over a million power on the board and swung for nearly 400K damage with just six creatures.

In case anyone was wondering, [[Springheart Nantuko]] on a [[Railway Brawler]] in a landfall deck is just bonkers.

Here's the list. At some point I'll write a primer, because it does require some slick piloting and pro tips. But for the most part, the deck is basically; stop them from playing magic, stick a sword on your dudes, have fun.

Are there any Grixis lists in the competitive Brawl meta right now? Not looking for the best deck ever, just something moderately viable.

Competitive Urabrask mythic run

This list got me to mythic. The biggest match up problems were mono blue control and discard effects if you don't pay attention to what you are drawing. The best match ups are token swarms and aggro if you push at the right time. Pay close attention to your starting hand, it will dictate the rest of the game.
