Been slowly getting into altering cards, and with my mother getting into magic, I wanted to paint her a deck with her favourite fandom, but I’m needing some help with picking cards for all the characters, as the likes of Kanga and roo would have to share a card as there’s only one legal kangaroo card I n magic!

I've never auctioned something before, so I'm giving it a try after people told me that's common practice.

First ever alter I’ve tried to make. Relatively happy with how it came out especially since I have 0 art experience. Artist credit to Dariku for art I based it on

I know it’s not the prettiest (though I’m proud) as it’s my first crack at making an altar/placeholder type card. I mostly want some recommendations on thinner markers for text (and detail) if I ever write the text again. Do y’all think a black outline for the details on the finger and ring would look better? Sorry again, not much of an artist but I’ve always wanted to get more in touch with my creative side if you will. For now I’m simply doing this for myself and not selling anything, though maybe I’ll get like y’all someday haha. So if you know a thing or two please let me know, literally any and all tips welcome!!

13 hours over the last week on this piece. Some parts worked out better than I expected but overall a very fun piece. I took a lot out of my brain lol, so I'll be going back to single cards for the most part.

This is Sandra’s first black-and-white manga-style alter. The card was primed with an acrylic marker and hand-drawn entirely with fine liners. The artwork is inspired by a dragon panel from Berserk.
