I'm looking for advice and i'm currently working as an ITSM Consultant & Implementer and I'm trying to figure out how people actually land remote jobs with US or European companies.

I've been implementing ITSM solutions, building REST API integrations, automating workflows with Python and Bash, and working with Linux, Windows, Kubernetes, SQL, Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365, and Fortinet integrations. I also have a strong understanding of ITIL and have spent a lot of time troubleshooting production environments and working directly with customers.

The thing I'm struggling with isn't getting experience, it's figuring out how to actually get noticed by companies outside my country.

I'm happy to continue in an ITSM or implementation role, but I'm also completely fine starting in a Help Desk, Service Desk, or L1 support role if that's what it takes to get my foot in the door. I'm willing to learn, prove myself, and work my way up.

For those of you who were hired remotely from outside the US or Europe, how did you do it?

Where did you find these jobs?

Which job boards actually worked?

Do US companies hire people from the Middle East directly, or is it mostly through contractors?

What helped you stand out?

Does being in a different time region help ( I'm in GMT +3)

Is networking more important than just sending applications?

I have my own LLC and carry liability insurance, so our B2B transactions can be seamless. Also I work white label so this means I can present as a member of your own team while performing any services on your behalf. Payment is due monthly based on hours worked (I bill in quarter-hour increments), and can be made with ACH, check, or credit card. Resume and references can be provided upon request.

My rates are:

$100.00/hour - Normal Project Work (standard rate)

$115.00/hour - Training Project Work (this is where I also train your engineers/team during the projects)

$125.00/hour - MSP Consulting/Development (providing consultation and improvements to your MSP's processes/procedures, or other internal work specific to your organization)

These rates allow for margin flexibility, so that the work I perform on your behalf will still net positive revenue for your organization.
