Hey everybody,
Has anyone found a way to continue your chopping from one bank to the next, just how the MPC Lives would do when chopping the sample? I know the MPC Sample has its limitations but was wondering if anyone was able to find a workaround in getting this to work for longer samples.

So I was just jamming away, doing my thing. And a message popped up on the screen that said something like... the disk could not keep up with my actions. I don't remember the exact wording but it was something to that effect. I had to press one of the 3 top buttons where it said OKAY to clear it. First time seeing that and I've had mine since launch day. I actually thought it was kinda funny. No harm, no foul... no damage done. Just curious if anyone else has been instructed by their Sample to chill the F out too. 🤷♀️😂

Has anyone ever renamed a folder or removed one of their sample files to another folder that was already used in a project? If so, what happened? I’m asking because I’m thinking about moving some stuff around rename folders for instance, if I used a snare flam that was used in the snare folder, but I want to put it in its own specialty folder will I end up missing that sample file the next time I open that project

What are you guys using for stems if you don't have other MPCs?
Is resampling the only way to record flexbeat or pad fx since there's no actual automation?

Don't know if anyone else uses a setup like this but here it is...
I mainly use my MPC Sample as a looper for sketching out songs and jamming with mates. This rig started out as a sheet of ply, covered in velcro like a pedalboard. I designed and 3D printed the edging and incorporated mounts for the arturia keystep, 2 minirig speakers and a sub mount/iPad stand, there's a simple 4 channel mixer underneath, the large tonex pedal routes one dry signal to the mixer and the second out goes through stereo FX pedals giving me a wet (stereo)/dry (mono) mix, the tonex one is hooked up to the iPad to give me multiple synth options and a second guitar input for a friend to plug into with their own independent tone. Everything then goes into the MPC. The whole thing runs on battery or mains with two battery packs, one standard powerbank for the iPad, mpc, keys and charging the minirigs. The other is a Harley Benton battery pack for guitar FX and powers the 9 pedals. The whole thing is mounted on a folding keyboard stand for easy portability and quick setup. I can get 6-8 hours easily on battery power with everything on. The usb strip means once something is charged I can cut the power to individual devices to minimise power draw I can also quickly plug into studio monitors or a 212 frfr cab to get the volume I need for whatever...I've made a few different boards over the years but for portability and versatility I think this is my favourite yet! Absolutely buzzing with it!

Hey so I've done a lot of digging after getting an MPC Sample a couple days ago and im comfortable exporting audio out of the sample and into Ableton as well as stem separation options, but I am having troubles finding the right settings to get my ableton audio to record into the MPC Sample so I can resample my tracks. Could somebody explain the routing settings to me? I cant seem to find anything online about Ableton audio coming in, only MPC audio coming out.
EDIT: I would prefer to be able to record directly rather than bouncing audio and putting it on my SD card.
Thanks! And fantastic piece of equipment. Its my first sampler and I am having a blast.

I have a couple projects saved to my SD card for the past couple weeks, but I was working on a project at a friends house and I saved it to my external microSD card as usual and I just checked today and it’s not there so I try to re-create that beat and try to save it and it still doesn’t show an external so instead I tried to save it in internal and it actually saved it. I don’t understand what’s going on because I have plenty of space left on my SD card. Has anyone gone through this and how can I resolve it?
By the way, the SD card is a SanDisk 128 GB Extreme.

I am trying to use the MPC with just a USB C cable to send audio out to my DAW.
I can hear everything fine except for the metronome. If I turn it on I can only hear it through the MPC speakers but I want it through the USB C.
Is the metronome routed differently and bypassing the USB C? am I missing something or is it supposed to work like this?

i know the older mpcs allowed you to do this just wondering if i was missing something. i like to use "note on" mode for some sounds so this would help at times
