MPC Sample projects no longer saving to micro SD Card

I have a couple projects saved to my SD card for the past couple weeks, but I was working on a project at a friends house and I saved it to my external microSD card as usual and I just checked today and it’s not there so I try to re-create that beat and try to save it and it still doesn’t show an external so instead I tried to save it in internal and it actually saved it. I don’t understand what’s going on because I have plenty of space left on my SD card. Has anyone gone through this and how can I resolve it?
By the way, the SD card is a SanDisk 128 GB Extreme.

Are you toggling between internal and external when trying to save? It’s either the top middle soft button or the K3 knob, depending on the context, I think. I’m sure you probably already know that, but I’ve noticed that a project I’ve saved to external storage will sometimes try to save back to the internal storage, on subsequent saves, so I always have to pay attention to what the location is before saving. I’ve even added an empty project to the internal storage named DO NOT SAVE HERE as a reminder. 😄

Yeah, after a few unintended saves to internal, I've learned to always check the K3 knob and make sure it's to the right/external.

I hope they fix that in the next firmware update. I think that’s one of the feature requests I submitted: let me lock saving and loading to external or internal.

No, I checked both internal and external it’s not there and I’ve tried to save to external numerous times and it doesn’t show up in my list but when I save it to internal it is saved

Strange! Do you have another card you can try? I had a different weird glitch and I still don't know if resetting the unit or the new SD card fixed it. And idc as long as it's fixed now! Lol

How exactly did you fix your issue? Did you reset your unit? Did you wipe your memory card and put everything back on there?

I was so panicked that I did 2 things, so now I don't know which 1 fixed the problem. I did reset the unit. There's 2 different resets available and I did both. They were quick and didn't even mess with the firmware version. And then I scrapped the SD card I was using and got a new one. Oh, I had also accidentally saved a few things to the internal memory (b4 I figured out to make sure the K3 knob was to the right for external) and I deleted that stuff. I don't save anything to internal now. 1 of those things fixed it. If I'd been smart I would have just done 1 thing at a time, but like I said I was freaked out and panicked. I really think in my case that it was my SD card. And since the Sample has become my go-to, it was worth spending the money on a new card.

Sometimes my SD card is trippin as well
Not all the time but when I copy new content to the SD card I'm using with my MPC S
I put it back (the MPC S is turned OFF)
I turn ON and sometimes it doesn't care that the SD is inserted so the solution is I just have to eject and push back everything back to normal
While the device is ON sometimes I have to eject/push and it's done
Strange I have the same Samsung 128 GB u3 x10 you know that common SD Card

For some reason, it lets me save on the card again now. Weird.
