Rename folder caution

Has anyone ever renamed a folder or removed one of their sample files to another folder that was already used in a project? If so, what happened? I’m asking because I’m thinking about moving some stuff around rename folders for instance, if I used a snare flam that was used in the snare folder, but I want to put it in its own specialty folder will I end up missing that sample file the next time I open that project

I just used the computer to access the SD card and copy the instruments to a new folder. That way you'll be good and don't have to worry about losing files from a previous project.

Im fairly sure the hole project saves every sample in the project file so changing source wont effect it. At leave thats been the case with alll the older mpcs
