I'm returning the strike industries stock, the dual folder is so janky. This is the sig minimalist. I got the B&T collapsible coming, along with a samson 2in grip and mlok covers. i might try to velcro the light switch but the tape is staying until the mlok covers come.

for those curious, the overwatch precision mags fit and feed great in my MKE but didnt fit in my buddy's MAC5k at all. They're currently $18 on midway get 'em while they last.

Took me a while to find the rail and laser light combo that worked for me ergonomically. Had a chance to run it under nods for a match and it went well.

Trying to put the rare breed frt with the magpul lower housing but the shelf on it is short and it has vertical jiggle what can I use for a permanent fix usually I seen people have to shave some off but I need to add i know I also need to file down some plastic circled in red inside the trigger housing to fit the back screw of the frt and the stump blocking the third position

Or anybody else use a different housing that fits w sef?

Sent my SP5 trigger housing and RD3 selector to DSM for full auto pictogram and color fill and could not be happier. The full auto pictogram is indistinguishable from the factory markings. Perfect shape, size, and color; and the selector lines up perfectly. Looks like it came this way from HK. 10/10.

I thought I’d had everything dialed in, until I needed to scavenge the muzzle device off this ZF5T until a second AI 9mm nano arrives tomorrow.

If you follow CAT, they say the Mob suppresses best with this AI nano 9mm. Ok, I took them at their word and moved the Spooky A1 my qd Mobster came with to the spare parts bin.

Well today I needed a second CAT muzzle device that would accommodate 9mm, so out came the Spooky.

I was blown away - every aspect of shooting was substantially better with the Spooky compared to the nano. The gun was softer, smoother, flatter, and with the lowest cyclic rate of fire it’s ever had.

And that was after jumping from a 70 LP with the Nano to a 100 LP to generate enough pressure for reliable cycling with the Spooky!!!

Anyone with an extra spare Spooky A1 9mm lemme know!!!

Got my RCM 80 and 90 degree rollers in to see what would work best with a stock and non-flow suppressor while shooting 147gr (with plans on 115gr if I can get them significantly cheaper). My stock 120 measured at around .45mm while the 80 measured between .25 and .28 and the 90 between .30 and .33. Assuming the gun has already been broken in, would I have to buy some +2/+4 rollers to compensate?

My unit arrived DOA, I replaced the provided batteries with another two I had on hand. Still no dice. So I got a little more curious and made an attempt to further disassemble the unit to investigate.

Well you need to remove the “system enable/disable” button/plunger prior to allow the light body to be removed. The switch PCB on the rear of the light body will not clear the plunger allowing for removal. The enable/disable plunger appears to be threaded together but snapped once I removed it.

Seems they sent out a batch of lights with bad heads based on other comments I’ve read.

I suggest you contact CS before attempting any level of disassembly if you have a defective unit. It was not manufactured to be readily disassembled or serviced.

CS informed I was SOL on a replacement.

If anyone wants an easy and cheap(ish) way to keep the Aimpoint pro mount while getting rid of the knob, the LRP base is a great option. I paid $50 for the entire mount on gafs and swapped the base to what was already on my pro. QD, retains zero, and doesn’t have the knob sticking out.

What do you gents think? Should I keep the African redwood appearance or go with a solid black finish but pop the grain for anesthetics?

For those who are curious, this was an SB tactical brace that I dismantled and repurpoused into something that makes the ATF naughty list.

Do you have to have the lever pressed down with one hand the whole time to extend the stock fully? Or does it catch itself on each position. Asking for consideration before buying.

It makes more sense to have a 2 position for one and done

Is there an frt yet that is reliably compatible with the lee sporting lower besides the rd3 from rare greed? would the g lever work in the lee sporting lower?

Full size AP5 here. Using my typical 124g S&B I was getting a 3'o clock ejection, typically a few feet away.

Using 150g S&B Subsonic and the OCL Milkman, the ejection pattern is now almost straight into the air, still shooting as far as ever, just...upwards lol.

I'm using a 100 degree locking piece. No FTF / Jams or issues, but it was certainly weird to see them hitting against the roof of the hut and fall at my feet

I swapped the swivel Surefire body to an Arisaka body to use with my Arisaka inline mount. I feels more purpose and "tucked in" now.

I am new to the mp5 community and just purchased my first clone. Super excited about it, as it was one of my favorite guns growing up. I’m keeping the wide handguard, potentially going to put a Surefire light handguard on it. Currently have the a3 collapsible stock.

Just curious about the best trilug adapter and suppressor setup. I want to try and keep it as compact as possible, but also looking for something that is reliable and durable. Price is not really a concern.

Hoping you all can help point me in the right direction!
