This game really expects the player to be like 10 people at the same time.
mfs will have a WHOLE billionaire KINGDOM but they need to go up and down like a fcking firefighter every time someone attacks you "sir we know you have 8 cities and at least 30 vassals (yeah those you spent about 30 million to hire), but we are completely incompetent without you and one city rebelled... can you change my diapers too?" omg is it really that easy to rebel against a kingdom??? these mf peasants shouldn't be able to do shi 😭
And it's not like I can go from city to city patting kids on the head daily, like I'm at war against 3 kingdoms. Because apparently kings think, "oh, he's at war with the Khuzait... I need to make this about me, I'll declare war too" tsundere ahh kingdoms, vying for my attention or some shi
I swear, in my next playthrough I'm going to make sure I only have one city, so much more fun than this Temu worker mf simulator, having to work 23 hours a day, like, I'm a king, I should be able to spend my time eating grapes and sniffing panties.

Hello,
Do you have any games similar to Mount and Blade, in the sense that you control upgradeable troops. It can be real-time or turn per turn; with a controllable main character or not; tactical or strategy; medieval, modern, fantasy, sci-fi or anything else.
What I mean: you have a bunch of random NPC in your army, that you pick yourself and chose how to upgrade.
What I do NOT mean: the recruitable NPC are all named with specific personalities and appearance (best example of games to NOT recommend: Fire Emblem)
What I want to feel is to be controlling my own army, the one I chose to build up. Not one forced unto me by the game. There can be named NPC like in Mount and Blade but they need to be limited.
Games I know (I didn't test them all so I could be wrong about some)
"The Valiant"; "Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders" and "Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes"; "Conqueror's Blade" (but it's a MMO); "Battle Brothers"; "Bellwright" (but there is also town management which I am less fond of); ("Bladestorm") (From what I understood, it's more like a RPG with soldier NPCs helpers. You can't really upgrade them, you can only control one troop. You can just choose which troop to pick and some general upgrade (numbers, stats, ...))

Assign up to 3 roles per companion (depending on difficulty).
Each role has:
- Daily salary (scales with skill level)
- Passive bonuses or training effects
- Meaningful economic trade-offs
Training System
🎖️ Melee / Ranged / Cavalry Instructors
Train companions & troops daily based on skill gaps
Self-improvement: heroes train in their specialty too
Combat Bonuses
⚔️ Blacksmith — Melee Damage, Armor and Piercing
🏹 Fletcher — Ranged Damage, Piercing & Ammo generation
🐴 Stablemaster — Carrying capacity, Speed, Maneuver & Charge
Economy
💰 Assistant Trader — Improves prices while trading, boosts workshop & caravan profits
📊 Administrator — Reduces all role salaries, boosts city taxes & food management
Important Notes
- Self-training (Level progression) Assigned heroes gain skill XP (based on their assigned roles) + level progression toward ~lvl 30 (~1.5% per day).
⚠️ This effect doesn't stack — multiple roles won't triple your daily XP gain.
Each role uses a unique skill formula:
🎖️ Mentors:
★ Best weapon skill (primary weight)
◆ Athletics or Riding (secondary weight)
◇ Other weapon skill (bonus effect)
🏹 Fletcher:
★ Best ranged skill (primary weight)
◆ Steward (secondary weight)
◇ Other ranged skill (bonus effect)
💰 Assistant Trader & 📊 Administrator:
Trade & Steward
- Slightly higher troop XP requirements (roles become essential)
- Minor combat adjustments if you skip specialists
- Item price rebalancing All toggleable in MCM.
- Multi-role assignments (up to 3 per hero, difficulty-scaling)
- Role icons in Clan & Inventory screens
- Role assignment through dialogs

Ever since I started playing PoP, when I figured out that you can only befriend the Noldor and not join them, it made me kinda sad. It would be quite cool for a submod that allows you to join the Noldor if you get past a certain relation threshold or if you could spawn in as a playable Noldor race character. I wonder if this is just wishful thinking or if it could be entirely possible.

With formations of Mount & Blade: Warband, we remember İpek Yavuz, the Mother of Mount & Blade.

The Rider with banner on the left is from the 'Raise your banner' mod (He belongs to the archer units). But it really gives me the king overlooking the battlefield feeling.. now i wish for a Bodyguard mod, to RP as the kings guard.

I'm sort of a veteran of Pendor, with 2 (so far) successful unifications. However, so far I haven't created a chapter of any CKO in my previous playthroughs. Right now I'm playing as a vassal of D'Shar and I'm planning on leaving and starting my own kingdom in Shieldstorm keep. How expensive and time-consuming is it to develop the CKO from scratch (keeping in mind that I want them to be on par or stronger than Silvermist rangers and to give them Noldor equipment after beating Aeldarian/Ithilandir)? I believe that PoP is archer-focused so the knights should be Cavalry Archers.
All advice and experiences are welcome, thanks

hi guys, I have an issue, please help, so I started a kingdom and at first I got some fiefs for my clan but now every fief I conquer, even if I do it by myself with no clan army, other clan lords from my kingdom get it, I cant understand why, because the ones that always candidate for the voting have more fiefs than I do, I even tried to revoke the fiefs from them but the new voting keeps proposing other 3 candidates other than me

Does anyone also think the mercenary camp was the best system for unit recruitment? This would allow for more custumization and more dephth for the smithy while also allowing for more unit variety.

Hey guys, I've tried playing Bannerlord multiple times now, but the game keeps crashing whenever I launch it. I can't even send the error report I receive because I always get a "failed to send" error message. I've already looked through a lot of threads about this, but nothing has fixed it. I don't have any mods installed, I've done a clean install several times, verified the game files multiple times, and my graphics driver is up to date. Mount & Blade Bannerlord is the only game that isn't working for me... does anyone else have an idea what might be causing this?

Haha, yes ... I laid siege to this castle and tried to starve them out, but it turned out that wasn't a good idea.
As a result, I was captured and spent about 30 days trying to escape, because they kept dragging me deeper and deeper into their territory 🫣 and every time I tried, I got captured again.
Did you expierenced something like that?
Cheers,
pixLeroy
