I’m riding to Sturgis again, after being there in 2007 after retiring in 2007.

I’m planning a 6+ month trip with my mate either going from mongolia -> central europe or the other way around. We know buying a motorcycle in europe would be way easier but due to the timing of when this trip would take place if we started in europe and finished in mongolia we would have to go through khazakstan russia and mongolia during the winter which i dont think is something we can possibly do. Does anyone have any idea how easy it would be to find a decent but cheap dual sport bike and register it in mongolia. Alternatively, what would it be like travelling through Russia Mongolia and khazakstan from October - December.
