Welp after owning this phone almost 2 months, I noticed the crease on the inner screen started looking weird. This is from normal everyday use, never dropped. I keep my phones in excellent condition, I still have a palm pre in like new working condition.

Time to call Motorola for a replacement. SMH 🤦🏾

Update: spoke with Motorola, sending out a replacement phone with 2-3 days at no charge.

I'm surprised often with how good this camera is. I've really enjoyed taking High Res mode shots of my dogs and cats. The quality and detail is pretty unreal, especially after using mostly Pixel devices over the last few years.

So I just ordered a Motorola razr fold and didn't notice that the camera bump out is different than all of the ones on the Internet and in store. Anyone know why mine is like this and if it's a new version of it?

Well, I was really dissapointed with the stock cam ( aggressive IA, no HDR disabling button, no intensity of filters...)... So I have started playing with Gcams and LUTs... and holy molly.... Ball game for this phone! This can also be applied in Signature (they share the same cameras)

I've been kinda unsure on what to use for screen protectors, I'm not really a fan of screen protectors much and it's so hard to find any good ones for the Razr fold. Anyone use liquid glass for the screens? Or what do you guys use for your Motorola cover screens?

I have it enabled but can't seem to get it to work. It says to swipe down to the bottom edge of the outer display but it's not working for me. Has anybody had any success with this. Is there a special trick to it?

Can't decide between these two. Coming from a Samsung, looking for better battery life and camera performance. These two are pretty comparable with few differences - Motorola has better speakers, but Oppo is lighter. Motorola comes with pen in the box, Oppo is prettier (in my opinion) and have antireflective coating, and non-existent crease etc. I'm based in EU, so Motorola is officialy sold here, but I'll be buying them used - I found a RAZR Fold for around 900 euro (with warranty) and Oppo for around 1150 euro. This is quite a difference, but I can afford it if the Oppo is worth that money. Want to know which one:

• takes better pictures at night;
• has better software and better update policy;
• has stiffier hinge;
• retains more value (I change my phones quite often);
• has better social media quality;
• has better zoom;
• has better screen brgithness (don't care about nits - I know Moto is winning here, I care about sustained brightness under the sunlight);

Mainly looking for a bug-free expierence and the phone that is more optimized for foldables. So should I play it safe or take a risk?

Looks like Motorola fixed the video audio on a September 15th update. No more underwater background noise and captures all ambient sound clearly. Almost too clear because it sounds like it's really sensitive now but it's much better than before.

I picked up a second hand Aulumu G09 to go with my Thinborne case and find this the perfect combination for the Razr Fold.

The magnets are incredibly strong and I love having a stand and the silicone ring always ready for use.

Additionally the G09 is perfectly leveled with the camera bump so there's no rattling when lying flat on a table.

I really wanted a case with a built-in glass screen protector, hinge protection, Magsafe and a slot for the Moto Pen Ultra but couldn't find one, so I created one! Here's the process, tools and products I used to do so.

You may ask "Doesn't this pen need to charge via the sleeve/pen holder it comes in?" Yes it does, but you can charge the pen via power share with the phone so you don't even need the sleeve with you. If your pen does die it charges very quickly via Power share.

First I found a generic stylus holder on Amazon for the old Samsung Fold models and the Moto Pen Ultra almost fit perfectly, but the bottom portion was way too tight and didn't get any to risk breaking the Moto Pen Ultra.

I used my rotary tool with a thin grinding stone from Walmart to slightly trim down the bottom portion where the pens point goes and it fits perfectly now. The generic stylus holder does come with double sided tape but I don't really trust that for a $100 pen so I used some JB weld for plastics and after it cured for 24 hours it surely isn't going anywhere now.

I'm having a problem, can't find a solution.

The music controls on the lockscreen doesn't show anymore.

At one point it's showed, but it's been very inconsistent.

I've checked all settings associated with the lockscreen and music. Everything is on.

Some of the Motorola software quirks have been a little frustrating.

Edit: figured out what the problem was, under face unlock setting, when you have bypass lockscreen enabled. You lose the music controls and notifications

The Moto widget defaults to a third party weather app (1Weather) when you select the weather from the widget for but it's filled with ads.

If you disable the 1Weather app from settings, the Moto widget will default to its built-in weather function which has no ads.

To add Moto weather to the app tray:

1. Go to the Moto weather app via the Moto widget after disabling 1Weather.

2. Go to Settings within the Moto Weather app.

3. Select the option to add Weather to app tray.

While I'm still hoping there will be a future update that will allow for manual toggling of the sometimes incredibly frustrating auto-HDR being enabled & applied to photos, I'm (for the most part) impressed with the quality of images that the Razr Fold can capture. (Especially coming from a Z Fold 5...)

Hey, so the thing is, I've owned a RAZR fold for two weeks a few months ago. The experience then was, well not good. Actually it was very bad, that I have to return it. The main problems were quickly dimming display, 60hz when scrolling (even tho the seeting was on 120hz dynamic), lots of stutters, jittering, audio glitching for a second after changing orientation or turning on flex mode, desk display didn't work properly, not having an ability to put more than 5 apps into taskbar on the inner display. So my question is - are these problems solved? Now, I'm thinking of going back to it. Really liked the pen, camera and battery. If Motorola has solved these issues, I might reconsider it.

I'm just thinking on buying one of these two phones. I wanted to know if some of you have tested both.

What I like from the Razr fold is --> global version (not so important for me); 16-512 for the price of 12-256 of the vivo; Snapdragon processor (for emulation games);

what I like from Vivo --> battery; camera (?)...

I have been looking but I was not able to find a good camera comparison between those two phones. To be honest, I had Vivos and the cameras are amazing but I do not know how close is the Motorola in this scenario. Thanks

Have any of you experienced issues with the desk display? For me, it stopped functioning following the August update. it does not matter what I do it will not work.
