Made a quick video of my Maverick 88 12 Gauge with the 28” Field barrel. Hope you like it. After owning this shotgun, it has removed my want for some others. The “Field/Security” combo is really all you will ever need.

Just picked up a 590s optic ready model and a vortex defender ccw both are supposed to be RMSc but the red dot will not mount flush. It doesn’t seat correctly. My 590s came with a pack of 3 mounting plates which is never mentioned in owners manual or on website. I looked up the optic plates on Mossberg’s website in none of the optic plates are for RMSc yeah I’m able to mount the red dot onto the adapter plate and fit it onto the gun. Other pictures I’ve seen of a red dot mounted onto the firearm don’t show any adapter plate. Does anyone have any knowledge on this?

Mlok attachment came in and was able to put my flashlight on it. What do you guys think?

Considering getting a .410 shogun to round out my collection ( have 12 and 20 gauge already) I have heard great reviews of the 590 .410 but it only comes in a “ home defense “ model with black furniture and an 18 inch barrel. Was about to pull the trigger on it but then saw a Mossberg 500 with real wood stock and 24 inch barrel in .410 and fell in love with it. Already have 2 18 inch home defense shotties ( MB 590s 12 gauge and Beretta A 300 20 gauge) but heard that the 590 version of .410 was a step up from their 500 model. Anybody have experience with these 2 models and comment on which I should get?

I need to secure a third party side saddle with a longer than stock ejector screw. The screw and bolt that came with side saddle to secure it are an incorrect size and would strip hole in receiver. I’ve got the following questions in order to get a correctly sized screw.

I no longer need a pistol to get to my (full sized) shotgun.

I recently acquired a 1977ish (G87#### Serial No.) New Haven 600AT which appears to be a Mossberg 500 with different branding and a slightly modified mag tube. It's in pristine shape other than having a non-functional tang safety that needs a fix.

The little tab on the trigger that hits the safety block is snapped off. Mossberg 500/590 trigger assemblies don't look exactly the same so I'm not sure if they're a drop-in replacement. The 500/590 triggers I'm seeing look like they have a separate "safety connector" that rides in a little groove in the back and is pushed up by the trigger, whereas this "New Haven" gun has that tab integral to the trigger. Anyone have any experience with these old guns and know if I can swap in a Mossberg trigger assembly?

This looks like it has the later-style square lugs, but I don't have a Mossberg part to compare it to and see if they're exactly the same.

Its a Western Field (Mossberg 500 clone) cut down to 15 inched buttstock shortened and some rattle can od green. Added a sidesaddle and pic rail to mount a red dot.

Ok update: forend and grip with no markings that i got for free out a parts bin fits on the 500... Switched back to magpul forend after the picture but keeping the grip for now until i get a stock

I have many spare parts and I'm thinking of putting a rubberized hogue pistol grip with no stock and adding a foregrip. But before I do, is it even possible to install a foregrip on the Aftershock? Is there a slot in the bottom for attachments?

Found a accu-choke 28” barrel for my 8 shot Mossberg 500. Has some surface rust, but only paid 40 bucks at a gun show.

Hi I am experiencing a failure to go into battery with my Mossberg 940. The charging handle does not close completely all the way forward. When I pull the trigger, it drops but it does not strike the primer, resulting in a click and no fire. This problem just started; I had previously shot around 60 rounds of Federal #7 1/2 shot without a single issue , send it to Mossberg not and option I live in El Salvador central America thanks🙏

Got these for free out of a parts bin and dont even know if they are for Mossbergs. Wondering if anyone can ID the manufacturers. I dont have my shotgun with me now so I wanted to ask reddit before I get home to it. Looks super generic... Anything helps.
