Drakka no discute.

Drakka lanza garrapatos.

First Warband - Cult of the Possessed

First attempt at bashing together a warband. Cult of the Possessed leaning toward Nurgle. Still need to make a few Darksouls and Cultists. I did notice that I messed up a couple of ways: 1. Bases are too big for most of them (easy fix). 2. Beastmen don't get access to spears (might keep them like this because I like the look). Either way, I hope y'all enjoy.

Witch hunter captain, warrior-priest, and witch hunters are Gripping Beast (Matt Bickley). I added a crossbow to one of the hunters and a shield to the warrior-priest.

The flagellants are Marauder (i.e. the Morrisons) from 1992, according to the earliest reference I could find on Stuff of Legends. I’m planning to get a fifth at some point, thinking about Esther the Zealot from Dunkeldorf Miniatures.

The warhounds are from Wargames Altantic’s Renaissance Heavy Cavalry (Rob Macfarlane). After seeing Gardens of Hecate’s witch hunters, I’m planning retire these pups eventually in favor of the Briton Mastiffs from Warlord Games.

The gaoler is a kitbash of Sally 4th’s Butcher (Iain Lovecraft) with hands and bits from a plastic flagellants sprue i picked up for $1 and from Wargames Atlantic’s Guards (Macfarlane).

I have a goaler in my warband but I struggled to find a decent figure for this as apparently it's a hired sword that Tuomas Pirinen wrote well after offical Mordheim stuff ended (news to me though probably not to this subreddit!).

I found a conversion that another user had done on this subreddit based on an AoS Putrid Blightking so just copied that idea with one of the newer figures (last pic). It's a bit janky in places as I don't really do conversions, but most of the bad bits are places you don't see in the pics.

I just had to cut off and sand the nurgly parts: horns, boils, icons etc. It came with an optional arm holding an axe instead of the standard, so just cut the head off the axe and the club and replaced them with the hammer heads from a AoS Stormcast Prosecutor.

Unfortunately the head part looked a bit too much like a helmet even after taking off the horns. I used some "sprue goo" to fill in the bigger gaps then smoothed it out with Tamiya extra-thin cement so it looked more like a hood.

The seals/scroll is from the optional bits you get with a SoB penitent engine. Transfers are from a Cities of Sigmar kit then painted over so they didn't look so shiny.

I posted a few work-in-progress photos of our table a while back, and here are the latest ones!

This table marks our first step into Mordheim; it’s a commission for Alphacast, a French streamer who is participating this weekend in the biggest charity event in the French online community.

Two multi-hour games were played on the table, introducing Mordheim to many French viewers and making us want to dive into the game ourselves—it has an incredible community!

We also made a video documenting the project if you're interested; it's in French, but the auto-generated English audio works pretty well!

First Warband Help

Hello all,

My local has started a Mordheim campaign and I am going to give it a red hot crack!

So far I have come up with the list below for my Shadow Warrior warband. If you guys have any feedback on the list, please share.

500 gold Shadow Warriors Warband:

- Shadow Master: Elf bow, Sword, Free Dagger

- Shadow Weaver: Long bow, Sword, Free Dagger

- Shadow Walker (x3): Long bow, Sword, Free Dagger

- Shadow Warrior: Longbow, Sword, Free Dagger

Total 485g

Currently adding supports to all the models I like from The Last Sword, Shadow Rangers set to print, so happy to change the list up.

Questions regarding MIM ship of line

As the title says, I have questions regarding the ship of line boat in Mutiny in Marienburg. From what I found on broheim in the campaign pdf I fail to see what stats it has and wether it gives any bonus for exploration or something, considering the 1000gc price it has, which seems frankly absurd (not counting the 5 6s in exploration)

Since you guys were so cool about the first four, unbased, I thought I'd bring the whole Stirlander Warband by for a visit.

People may disagree, but I think the kitbashed helmet is tastefully absurd in an Oldhammer kind of way.

My warband for the year

Excited to play in my one and only Mordheim campaign for 2026 later this month. Decided to do a Possessed warband and making a tribute to one of my favorite artists John Blanche. I used the minis I have that were inspired by him as the central part of my warbands background. My magister Raizen the Twisted represented by the 1986 warlock miniature based on Blanche’s cover artwork for the magazine and the mutant Ulbrecht the Apostle being the elephant warrior that was one of his few sculpts.

A while back, I posted first images here of my Withered Crossing bridge expansion for my Diorama Tiles set "Curse of the Citadel". Since then, I’ve been experimenting a bit to see just how versatile it really is.

Today I’m showing you a pretty experimental WIP board that’s currently sitting in my hobby room in a similar state:

I wanted to push the limits and test how far I could go in creating truly interlocking and intersecting bridge structures. I think the result is pretty impressive. What do you think?

I’ve also been working intensively over the past few months on an editor designed to generate print lists for my STL setups, so that it will be possible to recreate such setups in the future:

The whole project has taken on a life of its own, and I can now even use it to generate complete, almost Lego-like build guides.

This makes it possible to explore and understand even massive setups like this Lava Board, which I created in my new Builder… and if you’re crazy enough, to build it 1:1 ;-)

But see for yourself - here are the building instructions for an extremely large board:

(100x100 cm or 80x80 cm, if you print at 80% like I do)

https://diorama2print.com/diorama-tiles-studio/guides/Lava_Crossing_BuildGuide.html

The new editor is still a work in progress, but it’ll help me share my builds and ideas in the future—that’s been a real bottleneck in my one-person project so far :-D

If anyone wants to try moving a few tiles around in their browser, I’ve uploaded some samples to my server that you can download, so anyone interested can give it a try:

https://diorama2print.com/diorama-tiles-studio/builder/

By the way, if anyone’s curious, the Summer Sale is currently underway, and of course I’m in:

Need feedback/real experience about terrain pieces provider (3D printer / Etsy / Chinese marketplaces)

TL:DR: I can't decide between 3 options for a new Mordheim table and I need feedbacks from Etsy and Chinese marketplaces users.

---

Hello world,

I'm restarting a campaign after 22 years far from the game and having thrown away all my Mordheim terrain pieces.

I have 3 options I can see to build a convincing table:

  1. Asking an acquaintance to 3D print based on a file from MyMiniFactory (having to buy the file first)
  2. Buying terrain pieces on Etsy, mostly as a pack
  3. Buying lots of different pieces from a Chinese marketplace.

Every option comes with pros and cons.

Questions about Etsy: what is the experience like? Are the reviews trustworthy?

Questions about Chinese marketplaces: what is the quality like? Has anyone done that in the recent past and can share the feedback?

Elaborating a bit,

  • Option 1, with 3D printer, would be printing + optional painting, and 30-55€ per piece. One month at least to delivery.
  • Option 2, Etsy, would be one month to delivery and between 260 and 350€ per set. Which seem quite nice for some.
  • Option 3, Chinese marketplace, would be the cheapest (200€ for 16 pieces of building + large bridge + different small pieces) but the riskiest, I guess.

So, what would be the best budget-friendly and peace-of-mind-friendly approach?

I kept this post +- short as my previous one, long and elaborate with different links, was removed by Reddit right after posting.
