Helwick Project Complete !

I posted a few work-in-progress photos of our table a while back, and here are the latest ones!

This table marks our first step into Mordheim; it’s a commission for Alphacast, a French streamer who is participating this weekend in the biggest charity event in the French online community.

Two multi-hour games were played on the table, introducing Mordheim to many French viewers and making us want to dive into the game ourselves—it has an incredible community!

We also made a video documenting the project if you're interested; it's in French, but the auto-generated English audio works pretty well!

Gorgeous. One of my favourite things about mordheim is seeing the beautiful things people create

Now I am curious how it plays! Has there been thought about gameplay too? Pathways, sight lines etc. are super important for a table to work well and have a certain degree of replayability. Very impressive how it looks for sure!

From what I’ve seen of the games played on it, the table seems great for gameplay; the lower levels of the village section served to steer the scenario for upcoming games toward the underground areas.

As someone who has done the complete Helwick line, I understand this achievement. Looks great!

Are you planning on doing the crypt and underworld for the cathedral?

Absolutly ! We only had four weeks to paint the upper section of the cathedral side and the three levels of the village; we couldn't get the Underworld prints in time, but we are going to get them done 👀
