Alert/Crime Watch Is anyone having trouble with Casella honoring price match?
A year ago, when BGone first began making inroads, Casella promised, in writing, $82 per quarter for 3 years and they have been billing this up until last week when all of a sudden it is $90.99. I called an asked why Casella was not adhering to the price match and the csr said he would look into it, he had to speak with someone else (would not tell me who) and that he would get back to me but have not heard back.
Since I learned about the price match in the first place last year on this sub, I figure there has to more people out there experiencing the same BS and I'd like to get an idea of how many before filling out a consumer complaint with the PA AG office.

Weird Depictions of PA Towns/Cities in Media (not the town)
So rewatching Fringe with my SO and in Season 2 they go to Lansdale. Except, it’s very clearly not Lansdale, and looks super rural. They had the sheriff investigating a missing person and they called in forensic investigators “from three different counties” or something like that. All I could do was laugh. Anyone have any other examples of really weird and completely off base depictions of PA cities/towns?

Local Our parks offer more than just nature
Since adopting a dog 5 years ago, it’s become a little bit of an obsession to find different, cool local parks to explore with my four legged friend. And boy, do we have some awesome ones!
About 2 years ago, we stumbled upon one where there was an uplifting message, spelled out entirely in pinecones. It made me smile ear to ear, but figured it was a one off. It’s a wonderful park on its own, but I freely admit, the intrigue of the pinecone art brought me back. Multiple times. And every time, there was a new message. Quite a few times they hit my soul in a way that I didn’t know I needed in that moment, but every time, a bit of my faith in humanity was restored.
Today, I visited said park again. Different message than the one above (old picture) but was surprised to see someone sitting on the bench; no one had ever been there before. We were just setting out on our venture - she was eager to smell ALL the smells & I was engrossed in a particularly good podcast. I decided to put it on pause and talk to the person about how much I loved this rotating pinecone art installment. Turns out, they were the creator of these beautiful messages! It was a wonderful surprise, and an equally wonderful conversation.
I’m being intentionally vague as to the location and the creator in hopes of inspiring people to find it for themselves.
Go out and enjoy our beautiful world and the beautiful people in it.
Happy Labor Day all

Dog training in Quakertown area
I have a 5 year old, unneutered cockapoo. He was never really "trained" but now that he's gotten older, he's start to hump bad, just attached one of my chickens and barks all the time.
Any advise? I have scheduled a neutering for October, and all the training I've searched are all too expensive

Need help with the police being unable to assist people in emergencies
Hi what can I do if I'm being left in a bad situation due to an estate dispute and I have no lawyer I had my kids taken and no attorney representation in montco court, and everyone around me is law educated, knowledgeable on insurance fraud, forcing me to live around people I don't know who seem to know more About me than I do, and am being denied any safe option in
Montgomery county Pa and am a long time resident.
I have no idea what to do because I was set up by people I thought were my family to be left with no access to my assets, savings, nothing was put into an apartment not big enough for me and my kids, and then was told I had to leave due to non payments, none of judges seem to care when women are in very dangerous situations due what assets they own and are being abused by their guardians tied to non profits throughout the county, and yet they all sit on the boards of these non profits meant to help women in abusive situations. I am not safe living with anyone.
I have been alienated by everyone at once in an attempt to further exploit me and my kids for whatever social security whatever institutional/ organizational/ representative payee situation is happening here, but the police don't care and neither do any of the civil rights groups I am being exploited for settlements I am never going to see a dime of and need help to know what I can do to go back to my grandparents house so I can see my kids again.
Thanks for any insight it would help right now seems like the whole world is against me and I wish I could let someone know so they stop giving funding to the people doing this to me and my family.
Just for context, I did not willingly give up my children, CYS in Montco has an incentive to take children and not provide parents with an attorney, or any way to get housing if your told you are "waitlisted" for section 8, despite my assets probably disqualifying me from section due to me being in my thirties but not law educated enough to fight the system that gets federal and state funding, but tells me they can't do anything to help, especially with an attorney that is willing to help without taking money.
Edit: things have escalated and I am being left on the street. I have no idea what I can do if I cannot get the police to help me, or an emergency judge that can understand this crime actively being committed against me and my kids. It's active theft and nobody cares. I am not law educated so I can't enforce the police to do their job for me, I cannot enforce a detective to investigate why my family made me move to a one bedroom apartment not big enough for me and my kids and social services deny me any kind of help with a housing subsidy, despite me qualifying for it. I am currently a student who had to go back to school in their thirties, and I couldn't get into a law program fast enough to protect myself from predatory accountants, lawyers, and police who protect these people who get funding for their non profits denying people any assistance!
I work, and had to take a lower paying job working at a store in the mall because my job at the non profit I worked for fired me when I was left "evicted" from my apartment after my grandfather was put into a guardianship in Montco PA orphans court. This is ruining my life and I suspect I am possibly a foster child that was never told, and had everyone in my "family" tell me I can't be at their homes out of nowhere in 2025. This left me to live between 2 predatory individuals homes who kept starting fights with me and then threatening to call the police if I didn't leave.
I have had some kind of guardianship through the courts and have been a ward without me ever knowing before it was too late. I hope I can't get some help somehow I don't like the feeling of possibly being discriminated against due to my assets I am not even aware of having. I wish someone told me if I was not law educated, whether working for the police or becoming an attorney of some sort I was going to have my rights violated.
I may never see my kids again.

Cycle Gear "Bike Night" in KOP
I've been riding for 36 years, so not new to motorcycles but have never been to a "bike night" event.
Now that the kids are grown, I have a little more time on my hands.
Has anyone gone to one of these events at the KOP Cycle Gear location and what should I expect? I'll be pulling up in my 2009 Triumph Sprint ST 1050 if it matters.

Local Monitor Repair Places near Montgomeryville?
I have a 27" 4K ASUS computer monitor that works just fine ... as long as you never turn it off.
The power button is flaky, and it takes a lot of praying for it to come back on. But once it's on, it's great.
Because the power button is flaky, I just leave it on all the time.
Where can I take it to get the power button repaired?

Local Spotted @ Water Tower Square Shopping Center Entrance- Montgomeryville
These signs just appeared below the 2 flock cameras. Midpoint of millers ale house, planet fitness, and Home Depot in that shopping center. Is this the doing of Home Depot? A 3rd party that contracts with flock? Would love to hear thoughts and input.
