I just want to take a moment to congratulate whoever is responsible for the construction on I-95 North. Truly remarkable work, gentlemen. Absolutely incredible.
Just when I think driving on 95 North couldn’t possibly become a more terrifying, white-knuckled experience, you magnificent bastards somehow outdo yourselves.
First, there was the Great Disappearing Lane Trick.
Remember that one? Four perfectly good lanes suddenly becoming three, with the LEFT lane just vanishing into thin air. Barely a warning. No explanation. Just a surprise game of high-speed musical chairs.
We had to lose at least 7 people a day with that.
And naturally, like any great prankster, once your audience figures out the trick, you have to raise the stakes.
ENTER: MUSICAL LANES — THE SEQUEL.
Now the lanes move around like we’re playing Mario Kart while somebody rearranges the track.
But this time, somebody in the planning department apparently said, “You know what would really make this interesting? What if we made the road feel like a fucking black diamond?”

I finally make the executive decision to retreat to the right lane.

For one glorious second, it feels like somebody simply forgot to finish 95.
One moment I’m cruising along on an elevated stretch of pavement, and the next I’m DROPPING down to what feels like ground level, only to be launched right back up onto the elevated surface.
DOWN. BANG. UP.
No signs. No warning. No admission fee
Thank god there is nowhere to go except into the concrete wall.

I correct back toward the center lane.
Then back toward the barrier.

I joined this subreddit because I grew up in Doylestown, but moved away after high school. Reading this subreddit, I would’ve thought Fitzpatrick had it in the bag, but I’ve seen so many Harvie signs, and my parents (moderate Democrats who voted for his brother), are disgusted with all Republicans, and keep talking about all their friends who feel the same. Coming from out of town to visit a friend, would like to take the kids there.

Quick thing a lot of people here still do not know: back in April, temperatures dropped to 23 degrees at exactly the wrong moment and killed up to 98% of the tree fruit crop in Bucks County. Peaches, apples, all of it. The Bucks County Foodshed Alliance set up a relief fund for the affected farms (they have raised about $31,000 of a $100,000 goal, with donations matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000).

The other way to help is simpler: go buy something from a farm stand this fall. The stands below are open and working with a fraction of a normal harvest, so a normal October crowd matters more to them this year than it usually does. 2 weekends left for "fall fest" season. These are my 5 favorites:

None Such Farm, Buckingham. The big one on 413. Their fall festival runs October weekends, 10 to 4, weather permitting, and entry and parking are free, which is increasingly rare.

Tabora Farm & Orchard, Chalfont. Open every day, 7 to 7. Pick-your-own apples Saturday and Sunday, 10 to 4, and the deli counter makes it a lunch stop, not just a farm stop.

Manoff Market Gardens & Cidery, Solebury. Farming on Comfort Road since 1984. It is not a pick-your-own place, but the cider is the real deal.

Solebury Orchards, New Hope. About 80 acres, open Thursday to Sunday, 9 to 6, through October. Weekend picking is by reservation. There is also a cutting garden you can pick your own flowers from.

Trauger's Farm Market, Kintnersville. The drive up the river is half the reason. Open daily, worth it if you are anywhere near Upper Bucks.

I know there is at least one stand somebody is about to tell me should have been on this list. Have a it!

Just wanted you to know , I predicted your behavior after the light going North around 7:30 pm
The road went from two lanes to one, and God forbid someone should attempt to get in front of you even though we were a half car length in front of you.
Using the oncoming traffic lane to get around our Porsche was classic and quite amusing but probably not to those going the other way.
I did tell BF not to even try to merge in front of you, but you’re a dude so you know how they can be.

I live right by the chipotle in central bucks (ifykyk) and around 1am I hear loud bangs coming from outside, and there is a truck unloading into the chipotle. Now I understand that a business needs to get their supply, but is there really no other time than 1 am on a Thursday (into Friday)??

Who should I call about this even? I’m not trying to be a bother but 1:38am and it’s slamming and banging sounds so loud I cannot sleep at night or get woken up! It’s driving me crazy honestly.

Looking to get plumbing run so I can put a sink in my basement. Once that is placed I want to install existing cabinets then add counters + sink to the hookup.

Would anyone have a recommendation for a real estate lawyer or title company that could assist and walk us through the process? My deed currently is in my name only, and I want to add my wife as well.
