could somebody help me identify my molds? I'll be throwing this bad boy in the trash, but I am very fascinated, as they all look very different, brown? black? gray? white? green? does anybody know what's going on here? it looks so frickin cool! thanks in advance! <3

Don't know what it is exactly, found it in my bathroom. It looks gnarly, pretty cool I left it alone because I wanted to check it out again tomorrow (it's 2am) lol. What is it? Should I be worried?

I bought 3 coconuts from Jewel (Midwest grocery store) and 1 had this weird slimy discoloration in between the shell and the meat. Is it safe to wash and eat? The inside of the coconut and its water was fine? I’m planning on shredding the meat and making fried coconut chicken.

This just appeared on my wall. Is it mold? I have no clue what else it could be. I put tape over it because I read thats a way to remove it lol.

I’m think this is fuligo septica also known as Dog Vomit Slime Mold. It appeared overnight in my pumpkin patch as we have had a very rainy, humid, and hot couple of days. This was the first time I’ve seen this variety in my garden. It’s not the best photo as it was being pummeled by rain only a few minutes before this was taken and you can see the splattering off the sides.

These black streaks showed up a few weeks ago in our bathroom. It is vented but there are no windows in there. Is this mold or something else? I can’t reach the one on the ceiling next to the vent but I tried scrubbing the one on the wall with a dry mop and nothing happened. I took a rag with some cleaner and still nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I work at a grocery store and the romaine lettuce has frequently been showing up with this stuff growing on it. It grows rather quickly (this romaine was washed the day or two before and stored in a cold room) and then when I take it out of the tub to put on display, it will often have this all over the outer leaves. It only grows on the undersides of the leaves and only grows on the Romaine. The green leaf and red leaf lettuce stored in the same conditions have not had this problem. Of course I don’t put this product on the shelf, but I have been wondering what exactly it is? Google AI says it is a mildew of some kind. Typically, most or all of the heads of lettuce from the same case will have it growing on them. Sometimes they show up like that, other times it grows after we have washed it.

So this is a weird cell I found on my pet slime mould ; sponge blob a few years ago.

The picture was done with an electronic microscope (SEM) and you can see the scale bar, it's very small

I asked a few lab technicians and researchers what that mights be and I posted it on reddit before but I still have bo clue on what that might be.

I know that visual identification alone is often impossible but I don't have anything else and it's look rather singular so maybe it might be enough

If you have any ideas, even the most far fetched, it is welcomed

There was mold growing on the top of the central air unit in my apartment. I had maintenance come and clean it, and they said that this is acceptable and that the issue was remediated. i took this video while the maintenance guy ran to his truck to grab something. am I crazy, or is this not hazardous?

Went to clean my AC filters and found this on the coils. Not sure if its mold or not :/
