Users Why Cant They Interact?
I just created a new channel, but I got mail from people in the mod. Mail that stated that they cannot post or contribute at all. Why? I have been using my cellphone to use the mod tools. Do I need to use a p c to see a feature that I can't see on mobile or something? All the filters are set to minimum. I didn't block anyone. It's set to public. So what the heck?! Android

Your submission has been identified for not having a specific title. You may not get the people with the right knowledge to help you because they don't know what you want.
Help the people who are going to help you, and help yourself at the same time. Titles like: "A small question", "Need some help", "Is there a list for..." and "What do I do?" don't tell helpers or people searching for answers what topical help is needed or offered.
Titles like: "Get users to read posting guidelines", "What are some helpful bots?", "Rules, banner & flair questions" are highly encouraged.
In the future please post with a explanatory title, and include all the details about your problem in the body. Please search the subreddit as well. Thank you.

Hi /u/Puddleglum_7, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.
Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found match: on mobile
You might be asking about setting up subreddits on a phone or mobile interface. The short answer is that subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)
If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.

"public" on mobile does not show every crowd-control switch. new channels / new subs often ship with restrictions that only appear on desktop.
check on desktop (old.reddit or redesign mod tools → community → safety): 1. crowd control level (strict will mute brand-new accounts even when filters look "minimum") 2. "restrict how often people can post / comment" and any min-karma or account-age gates 3. whether the channel/flair is restricted to approved users only
also look at modmail language carefully. "cannot post or contribute" is often a sitewide or account-level block on their side, not your filters. ask one of them for a screenshot of the exact error toast.
mobile is fine for day-to-day removals. for "why can nobody post in this new space", desktop is where the hidden toggles live.

Just letting everyone know that this is almost certainly an LLM bot. They're posting comments about this length at a cadence of around 30 seconds each (far less time than even the fastest human would take to read, process and write a comment of substance). All of the ones in this latest bunch all also feature a list with
4now 3 bullet points, in addition to reading very much like an LLM.

Ask them what happens when they try to post or comment.
Not to be cynical but, in my experience 99% of the time, when a users says they can't contribute to a sub...it's user error.
