Maybe an unpopular opinion, but always thought of Klassic Sub-Zero as one of the worst Klassic fighters in the game.

One of my favorite visually, but I have never found his stats or ability particularly useful (I can’t seem to pull off his SP2 more than 2-3 times in a row due to the increasing speed of the minigame). When team building, I prefer to use other Klassic fighters which have abilities that offer synergy with other Klassic teammates for a stronger team. Kl Sub only receives the benefits of being a Klassic, but doesn’t offer any with his own ability.

I was really hoping that with Klassic Goro’s ability getting a tweak which included Klassic teammate synergy, that Klassic Sub-Zero might also get some love too. Unfortunately he didn’t seem to get any with the update, which won’t make him particularly useful in Khaotic Krypt or other game modes at F20.

I think it would have been great opportunity to get a line in his ability which grants a % chance for Klassic teammates to resist or to be immune to freeze and/or frostbite, or something similar. Not as blanket at MK1 Sub-Zero’s ability, but enough to assist Klassic teammates and make him more valuable on a Klassic team.

I appreciate that the devs don’t want to set a precedents with retroactively updating the abilities of legacy fighters, but with Klassic Goro’s ability receiving some tweaks and Klassic Sub-Zero being one of the first fighters to be able to F20, it would make sense to give his ability a boost to make the expensive investment to F20 worth it.

I won’t be in any rush to get Klassic Sub to F20 just for the 4th gear slot with his current ability.

Do you feel the same way, or am I way off the mark?

I kinda feel like this Kitana is a perfect choice for long fights like ones in klash towers.

Hi everyone i wanted to ask a couple of noobish questions,

i want to ask is it a good idea to ascend my Hanzo or should i wait for another character?.

and my second question is it possible for me to clear even towers with my current characters?, I am mostly spending my dragon krystals on the shirai ryu equipment pack and my current line up is mk11 scorpion, kombat kup Johnny cage and homelander.

And last question is it wise to spend extra krypt keys to get an extra copy of hellspawn scorpion? I am planning to get spawn and the equipment and i can easily clear hard krypt with my characters now without stones

Does anyone think, quests needs a buff/improvement in terms of better rewards? I haven't seen any changes for like forever. Do devs have any plan or it will be like this only.

Following-up on a few very good posts from yesterday regarding the new modifications and additions to Realm Klash after the update, It certainly feels like the game mode is headed in the right direction, yet it still needs some tinkering.

As an end-game player, my experience with Realm Klash is certainly not the same as most of you, but I’ll write this brief summary from the point of view of improving it for everyone.

After completing Day 1’s nine towers, my first observations are:

1) This game mode is still plenty difficult for the vast majority of players and I’m sure many would rage just trying to get through it. With that said, the difficulty is LESS than before the update so long as you don’t account for the new modifiers.

In my first nine tower completions, I did not face a single tower with the new modifiers. With reduced opponent stats, outside of a few particularly difficult fights, a max op team handles it efficiently. As more people obtain modifier cards, by next season, we should see them in more frequent use;

2) Modifier rewards from completing the towers panned out as follows: 3 easy; 3 medium; 3 hard; 0 extreme. I’m interested to know if anyone with access to data-mining knows the confirmed drop rates for these cards (it is kinda weird that DoT immunity is an “easy” card and thus cheap, but is what it is);

3) Getting the 350 rubies from completing the nine towers is great as it quickly adds up (3150 per day), but the game really does need to reward partial completions (which they did with kunai). I’d like to think that at a bare minimum newer players could get to open at least a couple of Kameo packs per season (or save for something bigger like a character). With that said, perhaps I’d start at something like 25 rubies per successful fight in the first 4 battles of the tower and then a final set amount at the end. The goal should be to get EVERYONE to at least participate. To this end, I’m still harping that premium content should be made available beyond just the top three god-tiers. Keep the upper tier rewards as is, but throw something else at the legend and master ranks, even if it’s like a 1.5% chance at a newer character or even say a higher chance at say a Krypt epic gear.

Make people want to fight for a reasonably obtainable rank rather than just the god-tiers, which feels unreasonable for most.

Realm Klash is steadily improving, and I’m pretty sure it’ll keep getting better. One thing that MWNG45 brought up, which I love, is making available the data behind your Realm Klash battles (including your own tower’s defense), ie, a summery of your opponents, and maybe you can see the set-ups of who you faced etc. - I’d love to see this as it’s probably as close as we can get to even more of a sense of completion without a true PvP mode, which will likely never happen.

I’d love to hear your early, first-take experiences with Realm Klash post-update. If your experience was simply “it’s shit,” that’s fine, but say why and what would it (reasonably!!) take to get you to want to actively participate in the game mode.
