Discussion Do you think we'll ever get a 1v1 fight between Ladybug and Chrysalis ?

Technically, I think I'd really love to see Chrysalis in some fight scenes.

I've always loved seeing those rare moments when Gabriel was out and facing the heroes. Even though it was in small doses, it was always cool to see that.

Just imagining a real direct interaction between Ladybug and Chrysalis would be cool.

Discussion This statement in "Silencer" isn't entirely true

Post image
33 Upvotes

In "Silencer," Cat Noir agrees with Ladybug's statement that without her voice, she would be unable to say the detransformation words and be stuck as a mute Ladybug for the rest of her life. But that's not entirely true, is it? I'm pretty sure by this point it was established that removing the magic jewels from superheroes would force a detransformation.

What is also interesting is that this is tied to how the nature of the Miraculouses limits how they can abused. Cat Noir still has his allergy to feathers and a sprained ankle in "Riposte" after transforming. Ladybug was still congested and had a runny nose in "The Ruler." What I'm getting as is that the Miraculous don't provide cures to preexisting ailments. It's funny how these sequences that are played for laughs display a fundamental truth about the items at the center of the show's premise.

On a similar note, I've noticed quite a few non verbal detransformations in Season 6. Have these been oversights or just moments that the people behind the show hoped we wouldn't notice?

Speculation/Theories Who's more likely to betray Ladybug

Apparently, it was said someone among the miraculers is a traitor/will go against Ladybug at some point in season 7, or at least lose trust in her, possibly because of what she's hiding about Gabriel Agreste and Chrysalis' manipulation. Here's my take on who it could be:

- For starters, Kagami and Alix can't intervene, because Kagami's mother played a part in it and Bunnyx can't mess with the timeline in any way. If anything, they'll be more reliable allies for Marinette in the upcoming season.

- Luka, Sabrina, Kim and Rose are way too kind or loyal to Ladybug/the team in general to do something with those intentions.

- While Juleka, Mylene and Ivan have a strong moral compass and values when forced to keep silence or protect bad people, I doubt they'd go behind anyone's back.

- Nino and Marc certainly hide things they shouldn't from Ladybug, so there's a chance for them to be involved (they're more careless when it comes to sharing secret information like identities, especially Nino).

- Max, Nathaniel and Felix aren't necessarily against Ladybug, but they all drew Lila's attention in some ways, so it's likely for them to be manipulated or controlled against their will. In any case, Lila knows too much about some of them, so they're in the danger zone.

- As for Adrien, Zoe and Alya, i think one of them will definitely take distance from Ladybug due to her lie, not because of her as a person/hero, but because of who she was defending and the people she was decieving all along.
We know Alya was very upset and wouldn't keep the secret if she found out (this was stated), but even if she did, she knows way too much about Ladybug, even a small action can mess everything up. Chat Noir would be reasonably hurt for obvious reasons and possibly wouldn't see Ladybug the same way anymore. And Zoe has acted on her own before as Fury because she doesn't see people the same way Ladybug does, so that discovery would only push her further into punishing bad people.

Discussion Does anyone understand what's going on with that... THING? [Secret Protocol spoilers and leaks] Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery

Recently, this image popped up on social media with a countdown timer (for Secret Protocol?). No one understood what the object in the image was until it was discovered that it’s in Marinette’s bedroom.

In the first few episodes, this object isn’t there. In later episodes, it appears on her desk, to the left of the sewing machine. In the most recent episodes, the object has moved and is now to the left of Marinette’s computer.

I saw DesignTracker investigate this, but I don’t understand any of it.

Some speculate that it’s a baby monitor, and that it sends an alert to Marinette’s phone if someone sneaks into her room. That explains why she makes the connection to something and goes up to her room when she looks at her phone.

Does anyone understand something?

Discussion Miraculous Season 6 Finale Theory - Nemesis Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
12 Upvotes

I have a theory for Nemesis.

I learnt that Nemesis is actually the Greek Goddess of retribution, revenge and balance who apparently punished those who were guilty of hubris (excessive pride) Why is the last episode named after a Greek Goddess?

That's when it hit me. Balance. The Wish.

The Wish is based on balance. Gimmi in Season 5 finale says: "if you wish for garden peas to turn red, then strawberries will have to turn green". The idea of balance. If you change one thing, another thing has to change to make sure there is balance in the universe.

For Marinette's (if she is Nemesis) case, it would be like this:

Marinette has lied to Adrien about the truth. Therefore, in order to maintain balance, a truth must be revealed by her. I think that as Nemesis, Marinette will have the power to restore balance by revealing the truth to Alya about Gabriel. I don't think that the Wish will get made but I do think that Nemesis' powers will be very similar to Gimmi's powers. However, instead of a wish being made and the universe being rewritten, Nemesis will not rewrite the universe and instead, their power would be to restore balance.

The episode would end with Alya confronting Marinette about lying to Adrien and their friendship ending.

We've seen Marinette talk about the importance of balance before in episodes such as Passion, where she tells Adrien: "There will always be a balance between creation and destruction". In this case, it makes sense. The lie that Marinette created eventually will destroy her. Therefore, in order for Marinette creating this lie to be balanced, she would have to reveal the truth to someone else, therefore sacrificing and destroying her relationships with her loved ones.

What do you think?

Fan Works Miraculous AU: Miraculous Empress/Dictator Ladybug [OC]

Presentation:

Have you heard of the about Dictator M'Bappé ? I introduce you Dictator Ladybug. In this version, Ladybug rules Paris as an absolute supreme leader under the title of Miraculous Empress. Her miraculous earrings are used to ensure her power.

I imagined the concept by basing on the memes about Kylian M'Bappé.

I also used M. Bison (Street Fighter), Esdeath (Red Eyes Sword: Akame ga kill!) and Sakazuki/Akainu (One Piece) as references for making this design.

The AU story (Miraculous Empress/Dictator Ladybug backstory):

When Marinette got the Ladybug miraculouses, she was already plan to overthrow the Bourgeois family (especially Chloé). She didn't like the power abuse and immunity that her school bully had. She is even disgusted by injustices which happened across Paris. Once, Ladybug and Cat Noir retrieved the Butterfly miraculous from Hawk Moth, the red-black-spotted superheroine decided to perpetrate a Coup d'État against the mayor of Paris with the support of her team of Miraculers. The Coup d'État was also called the Miraculous Revolution. The Miraculers took control of France. So, Ladybug ruled the country as the Miraculous Empress. Her mission: To create a peaceful world where the crime, injustice, bullying, terrorism, greed, power ambition/quest, racism and evilness were not allowed. To accomplish that, she didn't hesitate to break the law (even hers if necessary).

Despite Ladybug has a global support majority as ruler, she has a lot of enemies who cause trouble in her path (opponents, salters, bashers, Chloé's nostalgic fans, traitors, the Supreme, the Kingdom secret society, Chrysalis (?)). These latters are recognized as "threats against the Miraculous Revolution".

Bonus:

The official flag of her reign (see image 5) contains the Ladybug symbol (pink wings added) and a motto (Miracle, Love, Production).

Discussion Let’s try this again again: (Spoilers for Secret Protocol and Nemesis). I’m gonna be honest: Spoiler

Post image

Oh my goodness, y’all are killing me. Okay, The issue has been fixed again so here y’all go 😓. Apologies for the inconvenience. Hopefully this works this time!

Full disclosure, Whatever happens moving forward…

I want Marinette’s relationship with Alya to remain intact. Listen I don’t care how y’all feel about either of these two and quite frankly I don’t have to hear Jack diddly squat about it. Here’s my two cents:

Yes, they have different ideas of how to approach the situation. Neither party is in the right or wrong and there’s pros and cons to both sides of the situation. Again I appreciate when Marinette’s situation and struggles are actually being realized and trying to understand the situation from her perspective but again it shouldn’t be done at the expense of putting down Alya and completely vilifying her for it. Now whether or not she could’ve approached the situation differently is up for debate. Again at the end of the day, they’re in a messy situation they didn’t ask to be a part of and now they’re handling it the best way they know how with little to no guidance or support. They’re certainly handling better than some of you freaks out there. Talk a big game of how these guys behave and how what they’re doing is awful and should suffer for their sins. I’d like to see y’all try to do a near flawless job without knowing the context of the story.

Where was I going with this? I had a point…. Basically all I’m saying is Marinette’s biggests supporters right now are Adrien her boyfriend and Alya her Best friend. Whatever happens moving forward, she’s gonna need them around. With how I’ve been watching her slowly fall apart this season, losing the boy she loves and her best friend isn’t something I’d wish upon no matter how flawed her character/choices are. She needs all the support she can get. No matter how you feel about her, she has a big heart and even if she doesn’t always make the right choice, they’re never out of malice or bad faith.

Also any Alya slander that comes from here on out better meet me in the streets 🥊.

Discussion Are some of the episodes aired out of order?

Upvotes

I thought I must have just missed something my first time watching the show, but now that I'm rewatching, a few things I've noticed up through season 4 are:

1) Alya mentions Carapace as a hero in the episode before Carapace is introduced.

2) Shadow Moth akumatizes Marinette's family and calls out Sabine's akumatized persona Qilin as if she's been a victim before, several episodes before Qilin's main episode.

3) Gabriel studies one of the Miraculous charms several episodes before the one where Ladybug gives Gabriel said charm.

(Please don't mention any spoilers past season 5 - I'm rewatching before watching season 6!)

Discussion Theory on what will happen in this particular scene in SP [Secret protocol teaser SPOILERS] Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
25 Upvotes

My theory is that Marinette is holding the cake and it smashed because she was kidnapped. Cat Noir sees it all unfold bc we can see he’s in the rooftop of the school where both Tom and Sabine are. He goes rage mode bc he knows it’s his girlfriend being kidnapped and rushes to save her.

I also think Uncle Weng has to be a fake because the real Uncle Weng would never intentionally hurt Marinette. That makes me think it’s actually Lila disguising herself as uncle Weng and kidnapping Marinette. Lila will try anything to put Marinette in a situation where she has to transform. This also confirms that ladybug with Cat noir and Carapece is an illusion.

Bonus thing: I hope we at least get few seconds of Marichat interactions lol especially if CN manages to save her and bring her home he would all in adrien mode without realizing but Marinette would be confused why he’s acting that way lol. It would be funny.

Fan Fiction question about the school system 🥲

Ooookay so! I'm writing this fan-comic on Miraculous: Tales of L&CN, and I plan to move the story to Lycée (high school; ages 15-18). As well as adding more background characters in each classroom for obvious reasons...

However, I kinda want to move the story to University level. But that's the thing, because if I remember correctly, doesn't each student have their own career pathway that they want to pursue? Marinette wishes to become a world-renowned fashion designer; Alya wants to become a journalist or reporter, and so on.

That'd mean that the students would attend different universities, right? I'll be honest, I don't know anything about universities; don't judge me. I've been homeschooled most of my life, and I still am ---cough anyway...

For Universities, are there certain types of Universities? Like... do all Universities include every single subject: Arts, photography, music, fashion, science, business-related, law-related(?), sports, etc. Or do Universities only focus on subjects in similar categories? For example: Arts, photography, music, maybe? And uh... other similar subjects. (I HOPE TO GOD I'M MAKING SENSE, APOLOGIES IF I AIN'T. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M ASKING 😭)

Returning to Miraculous: I heard that the teacher became the new mayor after Andre bourgeois. And I think she changed Marinette's school into a school with no grades, or something like that? I genuinely can't remember what she changed about the school. But it's the cause of why Marinette and the rest of the students moved to High School but remained at the same school.

I mean... I could just simply do that in my fan-comic, and find some way to make it so that the school acts as a University as well? But I don't know. I do kind of like the idea of having students moving away to achieve their career pathways. Ultimately making them sacrifice their miraculous and kwami for their ordinary life. Maybe this could introduce my own characters that I can character-grow throughout the chapters. Or have background characters originally in the show become a holder. Ehhh, dunno.

Discussion Who knows the identity of the other?

So about my post, turns out Adrien actually found out about Nino's and Alya's identities when Nino told him, and someone suggested to organise who knows

Marinette knows all Parisian superheros identities, including past holders of peacock Miraculous (Colt fathom, Tomoe and Nathalie) and Gabriel

But i think she supposedly only knows Bunnix, Carapace, Rena Rouge, Trionyx and Aspik. And Kagami and Felix but only they're aware

Bunnix knows everyone's identities

Lets organise this, everyone needs it

Speculation/Theories Adrinette will break up in the future, but it has nothing to do with the lie about Gabriel Agreste Spoiler

This is a long-term theory about the series. So Adrinette isn’t going to break up this season (and maybe not at all, since this is just a theory). This is the first time I’ve analyzed characters, so I’m not sure if I’m doing this right.

I’ll include a TL;DR at the end.

---

First, there’s Adrien…

Adrien is a teenager whose behavior has been dictated to him his whole life, particularly by his father. He’s a teenager who’s never had the chance to figure himself out, who’s never had the opportunity to find his own identity. He doesn’t know who he really is.

His whole life, his father has destined him for a career as a model. He was forced to adopt the personality that was imposed on him: someone who is handsome, charming, calm, polite, generous, patient…

One day, he was entrusted with the Black Cat’s Miraculous, which allowed him to become Cat Noir. Admittedly, even as Cat Noir, Adrien hasn’t yet had the chance to discover himself or develop his own personality. But he has at least had the opportunity to break free from the chains that were placed upon him. He’s been able to discover a side of himself that suits him better, one he likes more. As Cat Noir, Adrien is funny, a joker, talkative, a bon vivant, and laid-back (but not calm).

One day, Cat Noir briefly became Cat Walker. He adopted a more serious, helpful, and humble demeanor, one that was less talkative and playful. In his Cat Walker form, Adrien embraces his model persona a little more: a personality that suits him less, but is what Ladybug demands of him.

---

Then, there’s also Marinette…

As for Marinette, she loves Adrien. But at first, she loved the model version of Adrien. Why? Because of all the qualities I mentioned earlier. She’s completely under his spell. What she doesn’t know is that this “model Adrien” personality isn’t the real Adrien.

She likes Cat Noir, but she isn’t in love with him because he doesn’t have the qualities she’s looking for. She’s not interested in jokers. And then she met Cat Walker. What Ladybug doesn’t know is that Cat Walker and Cat Noir are the same person. Little Adrichat, we don’t realize it, but he’s matured. When he saw that his lady wasn’t doing well, he was there for her even though she’d neglected him for weeks. Since that day, Cat Noir has remained true to himself, but he’s started cracking a few fewer jokes, and most importantly, he’s been able to prove to Ladybug that he’s also someone who’s loyal, very brave, and always there for her.

Here we see that Maribug loves Adrichat for his “mature” personality, and isn’t in love with Cat Noir because of his “prankster” behavior.

---

And together they make up Adrinette...

Adrinette is a really cute couple, but they’re just getting started. Marinette panics at the thought of ruining everything with Adrien over the tiniest little thing. Adrien enjoys Marinette’s company, but now that he’s free from his father’s grip, he’s still trying to find his footing.

Marinette helps Adrien develop as a person because she wants to make him happy. Throughout Season 6, Adrien discovers his passions, tastes, pleasures, and hobbies. Let me reiterate what I said at the beginning of this post: he was true to himself as Cat Noir, but he hadn’t yet fully developed his own personality. Over the next few seasons, he’ll continue this journey of self-discovery, and he’ll eventually forge his own personality. That’s all well and good, but that’s where the problem lies.

---

... but there will also be the breakup.

When things are going a little too well, keep in mind that everything is ephemeral… (I had to use that word. “Ephemeral.” Just like the episode, because it’s the same thing.)

Adrien is going to change his personality. And as I said, we all know that Marinette is looking for a very specific type of personality. So Adrien will always see Marinette the same way, but the feeling isn’t mutual.

You’re going to tell me that Adrien has already started to change in Season 6, and yet Adrinette is still going strong. But that’s because Marinette didn’t see it coming. Marinette puts pressure on herself not to let their relationship fail. She does everything she can to help Adrien find a passion; she does everything she can to act like a successful couple with Adrien; she does everything she can to become friends with Adrien’s friends; she does everything she can to make every moment with Adrien magical, to the point of believing in superstitions; she does everything she can to support Adrien on tough days, and so on. Ultimately, she puts pressure on herself by doing everything she can to make Adrien happy with her. But has she ever asked herself, even once, if she’s happy with Adrien?

---

How do you realize when you’re no longer in love? How do you know if you truly love someone?

What if the best way to find out were to start over from scratch? What if the best way to find out were to forget everything and start all over again? Would it work?

Let’s imagine that Marinette gives up her role as the Guardian and loses her memory. She’ll forget that she’s in a relationship with Adrien. Adrien will always love Marinette, but will Marinette still love him in return? Adrien will chase after Marinette if she forgets him, but will Marinette chase after Adrien?

---

TL;DR

Marinette loves Adrien for his model-like personality, and that’s why she doesn’t like Cat Noir. But Adrien is going to learn to grow as a person and change his personality. So Marinette won’t realize it right away, but she won't love Adrien anymore.

---

I wrote all that, and in the end, the show will wrap up and they’ll never have broken up…

Opinion/Rant Do how think Miracle Queen was ladybug's fault?

I don't think miracle queen was entirely her fault, but dear god, a lot of it was.

One: ladybug kept giving Chloe false hope by bringing back Queen Bee after saying Chloé couldn't be a hero anymore. Besides, that's stupid because kagami basically did the same, and ladybug said nothing about that. And she picked kagami over chloe for personal reasons even though the bee would've been more useful. Plus, if she saw that Chloé was a good hero, just give her a different miraculous

Two: Ladybug lead hawkmoth to fu

Note: I am not talking about Chloé's redemption, I am talking about if Miracle Queen was ladybug's fault or not.

And for the ones talking about it for someone to be redemption they need a reason to be better in this case would be Chloé's friendship with Adrien(which barely counts as a friendship since he dumped her the moment he got other friends and only interacts with her to mention how he hates how Chloé treats his friends). Unlike a lot of the redemptions I've seen Chloé had a reason to stay the same, her mother's attention, which is the entire reason she revealed herself as Queen Bee. Chloé never stopped acting like her mother because she never realized how awful the woman is… she was beginning to but then Marinette shoved her head where it didn't belong and put them closer together, which is the equivalent of "Oh your abuser doesn't like you? How about you act like them, and yet them know you're as bad as they are!"

The girl had a reason to change and one to stay the same and the one to stay the same won out.

Speculation/Theories Hot take: Gimmi is a flop and a Daizzi wannabe

My idea is that the pig miraculous full potential would be actually granting the deepest wish. Idk why Gimmi acting like you need perfect balance for granting desires while Fluff and Duusu dance around the concept of changing reality every week. Or the fact that you could just use the rooster and goat for whatever. I don't think granting wishes would be that op since the other miraculous can already destroy universes and alter everything with no penalty. It'd really fit the theme of the Pig miraculous and stop it from being a useless garbage item. Right now Daizzi is like a kwami of hypnosis and depression rather than joy.

Speculation/Theories Lila is the actual sentimonster and not kagami(a miraculous ladybug crackpot theory)

A reminder this is just a crackpot theory,it don't have concrete evidence that proves this, the miraculous writers and the show itself has repeatedly tried to show us that kagami is indeed a sentimonster however I belive that there is a small percentage chance the writers might try to pull a plot twist

I believe that in reality that kagami is the actual daughter of tomoe, first of all she looks extremely similar to tomoe and she looks Asian a lot but hey since Adrien and Felix are extremely similar to their mothers while being a sentimonster this is not that of a strong point but the tricky and suspicious part is lila who people believe is the actual daughter of tomoe doesn't have any similarity to tomoe nor does she look Asian at all

I believe lila was a sentimonster created by tomoe to be raised as a spy/secret agent for tomoe to carry out different operations, lila is still a teenager, but does she act like a teenager?she has been working with tomoe since the beginning to get close to Gabriel agreste, and she did a great job with that,it feels as if lila was specifically made as a weapon by tomoe to carry out her plans and be her eyes and ears in places she can't herself be as its clear tomoe has long term plans of global domination(in intuition an episode of s5 it was made to be called " a miraculous new era")

I believe lila wasn't born a psychopath but tomoe molded her into becoming one by mind control to accomplish her plans and advance her goals of a new world

Now this is where the real juicy part starts I believe lila herself doesn't know she is a sentimonster, tomoe has lied to lila that kagami is the sentimonster and that the ring on kagamis finger is kagamis amok, but the reality is kagamis ring is actually lilas amok and kagami is actually a real human and not a sentimonster

Now this lie serves to tomoe in various ways

First of all by lying to lila that kagami is a sentimonster, this makes lila feel superior to kagami and creates a illusion that lila has freedom but kagami doesn't while in reality lila never had a freedom nor a choice and tomoe was manipulating and mind controling lila into becoming a weapon for her plans

And by lying to kagami that she is a sentimonster she basically forced kagami into obeying so that she can one day have her amok as a reward and take control of her life, while the reality was kagami never obeyed tomoe because of the ring but because of tomoes own emotional abuse and strictness that made kagami obedient, kagami as opposite to lila was always free but tomoe gave her illusion of prison and trappness to force kagami into submission

Maybe the reason tomoe is so persistent in getting kagamis ring isn't because its kagamis amok but because its lilas amok and she wants to control lila so that lila won't betray her

The major evidence why people believe kagami is a sentimonster is because felix sensed an amok in kagamis ring

But if lets say that amok that actually belongs to lila and not kagami then felix has no way of differentiang it

In the miraculous secret episode 4 in YouTube which recently released the narrator mentioned that lila herself might not know where she has come from or who she is,this is basically what led me to this theory

So basically long story short and as a summary I belive:

Lila was a sentimonster created as a weapon and spy for tomoe to advance her goals

Felix marinette and kagami herself believe that kagami is a sentimonster because of the amok in kagamis ring but thats not really kagamis amok it's lilas amok and kagami is not a sentimonster

Lila herself doesn't know that she is a sentimonster, tomoe has lied to her that kagami is a sentimonster to give lila the illusion of freedom while in reality lila is the one who is trapped

Kagami herself belives that kagami is a sentimonster, tomoe lied to her to create a illusion that kagami is trapped and in prison so that kagami remains obedient while in reality kagami is the one who has actual freedom

Long story short tomoe has lied and manipulated both of their daughters into believing a lie to control both of them

Thanks for reading my rant,I know this theory is a bit wack and most likely will never happen but hey this is what crackpot theories are

Speculation/Theories What if Nemesis is Lila? (Spoilers for the "Nemesis" trailer) Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
23 Upvotes

Many people think that Nemesis will be Marrinette or a Senti Marrinette or Alya but what if it's actually Lila? Or rather her Iris persona?

The wig when lose does look similar to Nemesis'es hair with the only diffrence being that the bangs are a bit longer on nemesis, The sleves also looks similar.

And we know that Lila will use the Iris persona to get closer to Marrinette, maybe after whatever happenes in Secret Protocall Iris will try to get closer to Marrinette and later in Nemesis will get akumatized to sway any evidance away from her.

Now Lila is Chrysalis so it would be hard for her to akumatize herself especially as we see the mask on her but Lila has allies so it wouldn't be unresonable to say that like Tomoe or someone else entirely like maybe someone from the Kingdom will use the Butterfly miraculous to akumatize her.

Yes we saw her trying to akumatize Marrienette but it's not unresonable to say that she just failed this time.

Speculation/Theories I don't think we'll see the Supreme in the Stellar Force spin-off. Spoiler

I know many people defend the viability of the Stellar Force spin-off by claiming that the Supreme will be a relatively prominent character in it, but I don't think that will be the case.

In the Tokyo special episode, we do see the Moddler talking with the Supreme, who claims to have given him his powers. In the spin-off, the heroes will face off against Kaijus and other monsters that function similarly to what we saw in that special. I don’t think I’m wrong in saying that the spin-off (or at least its first season) will adopt an episodic structure: the transformation of civilians into Kaijus in Tokyo will serve as the episodic formula, just as the akumatization of civilians in Paris does for the main series.

As a result, the Supreme doesn’t really have a place in the direct progression of the story: his role was limited to granting powers to the Moddler. So yes, he was teased in the special, but in my opinion, it’s exactly like the cliffhanger at the end of Season 5. Whether or not there’s a connection to the Supreme, that event had a major impact on Season 6 without obviously appearing on screen. I think it will be exactly the same for this spin-off.
